### 3/5 — “Downloading” bar in the way

*2025-06-24, version 6.9*

Each time you open this app it comes up with a massive bar which says “Downloading %” which completely obstructs the most critical topics of the app - CPR, Bleeding and Burns. The only way to get rid of it is to press a tiny “x” on the right hand side. Try doing that or explaining it to someone in an actual emergency. Would recommend they move it down to the bottom of the screen.

### 3/5 — Has no Metronome

*2023-10-18, version 6.0*

The reason I downloaded this was for 2 reasons:
1. Step by step instructions for each incident type
2. To get a metronome beat for doing the CPR.
I am very surprised you don’t have the metronome :(
Plzz add this & I’ll give u 5 stars!!

### 5/5 — Something everyone should have

*2023-08-31, version 6.0*

As a busy Mum of 2 this is a game changer.

Amazing resource.

Thank you

### 5/5 — So easy to use

*2023-08-31, version 6.0*

This app is so easy and quick to use. Love that you can use it offline too which is usually when you need it the most! Love how straight forward it is to navigate and the illustrations are great quick reminders of the steps for each situation!

### 5/5 — A huge improvement

*2023-08-30, version 6.0*

Easy to use at your fingertips for every emergency

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2022-02-18, version 5.5*

The videos have no audio

### 4/5 — Snake bites / types of snakes

*2020-03-24, version 5.0*

Hi! I just downloaded this, I notice that the snake bites are split into types and regions. I am pretty certain that the snake types for Asia are for Africa/Middle East, and vide versa. You might want to correct the sub group. (Kraits are south Asian and mambas are African).

### 5/5 — Good app

*2019-06-17, version 4.7*

Looks like all the problems are sorted. It also gives tel numbers if you are abroad. :)

### 2/5 — Great potential, lost in execution

*2018-11-16, version 4.4*

The recent update puts a banner across the top of the screen which actually covers the 'step one' component of the crucial first aid information. Very poor quality control indeed.
Australian snake bite first aid is dangerously brief in the description of the what to do with regard to the compression bandage.

### 3/5 — Overall at good level with some issues

*2015-10-02*

The emergency contacts for traveling especially and sections are very helpful however someone it can be TOO VAGUE. In CPR it says "check for danger" as in check for bleeding? Check for danger from what? From the surroundings? Or in the burns section I think it would be helpful to suggest brands of bandages or medications to bring if it happens away from home and in other categories too.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2013-04-06, version 2.10*

Really good recap, iPhone 5 support would be good.

### 5/5 — Smartest app

*2013-03-01, version 2.10*

Great idea everyone should have

### 4/5 — Good

*2012-04-12*

Its good basic info, but I couldn't get the voice commands to work.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2012-03-22, version 2.08*

Very useful and definitely easy to use. This is an app that everybody should have!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — American Flag??

*2026-03-28, version 6.16*

English did not originate from America and we don’t speak American English in Australia

Why do we have to see the American flag every time in the app if we select English as language?

### 1/5 — Broken

*2021-08-12, version 5.4*

Crashes out.

### 1/5 — Latest version very poor

*2017-05-21, version 3.1*

Old version (3.0) was excellent - latest update for iOS 10 requires account to work - cannot create account due to errors in coding the app.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2016-07-17, version 3.0*

The app is no longer available.

### 1/5 — This app does not work

*2015-06-30, version 3.0*

No point downloading as there is only a blank screen saying this app no longer exists

### 1/5 — CPR Incorrect

*2013-02-11, version 2.10*

The CPR info is incorrect. It doesn't match up with current guidelines of compression, airway, breathing. This has been the protocol since 2010 so the app should be brought up to date.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2012-03-06, version 2.08*

Waste of time. Call 000 just summed up the app for you. Glad I didn't pay

### 1/5 — HOW "LIGHT" CAN 'light' GET!?

*2011-01-11, version 2.02*

IF YOU WANT THE DEFINITION OF 'LIGHT,' DOWNLOAD THIS WASTE OF THE ELECTRICITY IT TAKES TO POWER THE MACHINES IT TAKES TO DO SO - an insult to an adult's intelligence!

### 1/5 — Major problem

*2010-09-04, version 0*

Caused major problems for me. Went through 3 iPhone 3GS. Think it may have a virus.

### 1/5 — Wrong advice

*2010-08-08, version 0*

A lot of the advice in this app is wrong. I would advise people to take a first aid course rather than rely on this app!
