### 2/5 — First Use

*2026-08-19, version 3.9.0*

Downloaded iFit to try out. Was supposed to get a month free trial, but credit card charged immediately. Then during set up, I was unable to put in height or weight for my profile. Finally, issues connecting to my Concept2 rower.

The one workout I did was okay. Going to give it a month, but not impressed with the first day.

### 2/5 — App Crashed

*2026-08-16, version 3.9.0*

As I was rowing the app crashed and I had to start over. This is not uncommon.

### 1/5 — Terrible updates 2026

*2026-08-12, version 3.9.0*

This app is getting worse and worse with every update. I own an elliptical and can no longer filter results that are appropriate for it - the older filters had categories such as running, walking, hiking, etc. No more - now it is all categories like yoga, dumbbells, etc that are irrelevant to my machine. They also took away the filter to sort by shortest to longest workout time within a time block. It’s impossible to search for anything useful. I will not be renewing my membership once it runs out this year.

### 1/5 — No test or demo workout

*2026-08-11, version 3.9.0*

I really love to have some limited demo workout

### 1/5 — Bad update 3.9

*2026-08-10, version 3.9.0*

Had no Apple Watch connection issues before, after update constant connectivity issues. Also since the beginning of 2025 the app no longer works with Apple
Fitness. You guys need to step it up asap or I’m done spending $40 a month

### 1/5 — IFIT do you actually listen to User feedback?

*2026-08-08, version 3.9.0*

Again with this update, iFIT does not fix basic problems that users have complained about since prior software updates when iFIT breaks functionality that used to work great. For example, when in cycling workouts you still cannot view both your RPM and Time simultaneously, because they’re in the same drop-down menu so you have to choose one or the other.

Older versions of the app used to allow this, and the software built into Nordic track / ProForm bikes still allow this, yet the iOS app no longer does. It makes no sense.

The entire process of searching for workouts and filtering is a headache every time. Irrelevant workout recommendations and challenges are also a source of frustration.

While I love many of the iFIT workouts and trainers, this iOS software is horrible.

### 1/5 — App was good but not now

*2026-08-08, version 3.9.0*

If I follow a training a plan it doesn’t go into the next ride
When using the app previously it worked well, now there is too much going on and they’ve increased the price. Unless it gets sorted I will cancel my membership

### 2/5 — Tech Problems

*2026-08-06, version 3.9.0*

I mostly use iFit on my rower and occasionally use the app for rowing at the gym. The equipment on my rower often needs to be reset to work out quirks with audio, stats, and the timer freezing. By the time everything updates I’ve lost half my workout time. On the app, I cannot get the progress bar to show, making following along with workouts on an erg that doesn’t sync difficult.

### 3/5 — TV app doesn't sync

*2026-08-06, version 3.8.1*

I generally love iFIT. I've been using it for years. I mostly use it on a Nordic Track elliptical, but I also like the strength workouts. Everything on my machine, phone and iPad works great. When I attempt to do a workout from the app on my tv - none of the same workouts or history show up. Today I had a workout in mind that I had seen on my machine and when I tried to search for it on the Apple TV app, using the exact title, I got a message that it couldn't be found. Other than that, I love iFIT.

### 1/5 — Love my bike —>LOATHEEE THIS APP.

*2026-08-05, version 3.8.1*

UPDATE (8.4.26) —— first thank you for the genuine response, especially after I realized I used harsh words that were unwarranted and extremely inconsiderate. For that I’m truly sorry. I was literally typing while riding so I was probably a bit “triggered and definitely not fully attended. Anyway - I am sending your support team a bit more of a thorough and respectful constructive email to the address you provided. Again sorry for the harsh words and thank you again for your responsive service.

Original review
This app is horrible. IFITs “idea” of exercise is horrendous. Enough with the scenic shots and strolling through crowded pedestrian sidewalks. Also not all of us want to be lance armstrong. You need to restructure this entire app and service from inside out . No scenic panoramic shots during the actual ride. Use the time in the warmups and cooldowns instead of those 3 boring pictures that have nothing to do with biking over and over again. It completely takes the rider out of the immersive element that is supposed to be happening. Example - 6 minutes into a ride don’t show the dude sitting with a cup of coffee - I don’t care how good that coffee was. It’s not necessary one bit in this context. Also if you are going to be all over the inclines esp with the x24 bike, give descents a little bit of time don’t make us go all the way up and then cut again to something unnecessary instead of going down. It’s really not hard to figure that out. Take an example from rouvy. I would kill to be able to use that app on my NordicTrack instead of this nonsense.

### 1/5 — Buyer beware

*2026-08-04, version 3.8.1*

I was sent an email from iFIT stating my subscription will be renewed at $149.99 in September 2026. I was not aware that I had this account as when I logged on I only got the free version. When I went to try and cancel this account, I was unable to do so as I don’t have the information to that account. I called them and was told that they would cancel it for me. I explained that I’ve never used this account and they could check to see this account had not been used. I only had the free version. They stated they were unable to do anything for me since it was a year ago. I explained again that I was not aware that this account was open. They still stuck to company policy of they could not do anything for me. If I did not call, I would’ve been charged 149.99 for an account I can’t use. Talk about a scheme. I asked how much I had paid for this account and was told $99 so basically they took $100 from me for an account that I could not use and was going to charge me 149.99 to renew it. Doesn’t sound like a company I want to do business with.

### 1/5 — not work

*2026-08-04, version 3.8.1*

i have membership and there is no data downlading while blutooth on and screen number is frozen

### 2/5 — Was great but not so great now !

*2026-08-03, version 3.8.1*

Used this app on and for for a few years now
The new update app with loads of extra features (that I don’t need) loses my progress, when logging in, it goes back to the previous ride, the old version would automatically put you on the next ride, the price has gone up, but paying extra for an inferior version of the app, I did contact I fit direct but had no response

### 1/5 — Refuses to pull HR from Apple watch

*2026-08-03, version 3.8.1*

Seriously this should be straightforward. Very annoying

### 1/5 — Really disappointing

*2026-08-03, version 3.8.1*

I bought a new Nordic track treadmill last year. The treadmill has been great. However, this app is really disappointing in a couple of ways. Despite the fact that I paid full price for the treadmill, it continually tries to get me to opt in to a paid monthly subscription every time I use it. I cannot disable this or tell it I’m not interested. I am a competitive runner and I have my own workouts planned. A second major issue I have is with data exportability. It is a legal requirement in the state I’m in (and many other states as well as Europe) for customers to be able to export their data from software platforms like this. iFit has always made this difficult, burying this in settings menus, but in their recent website redesign they appear to have removed this ability entirely. I was told by their AI support bot that there is no longer any way to get the data exported from my workouts. I am frustrated and disappointed with this application and their apparent disregard from people who just want to use the treadmill to run and have access to their workout data.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — trash

*2026-08-25, version 3.9.0*

astonishingly bad software. incredibly unreliable at connecting to devices, and when it does manage to connect it sometimes simply stops recording distance mid-run

### 1/5 — Literally useless with paying subscription

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.0*

Just joined a different gym. Having had the luxury of GymKit equipment that pairs with an Apple Watch and records all workouts; I now the infuriating issue that I can’t track anything without paying a subscription that is half the cost of my gym membership. Oh yes, and if the gym equipment happens to have a screen you need the pro membership which is £400+ per year…and that will do is send data to Apple health. No tracking HR.

I have zero interest in anything the app has to offer except this absolutely basic functionality, yet ifit seems to getting away with absolutely rinsing people. Deleted immediately

### 1/5 — Tv app is awful

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.0*

App on treadmill is great but if you are trying to do a workout on the tv esp with favorites saved from app on cell they will not work took over 1.5 today to get connected extremely frustrating and if it should have this figured out by now with the cost of the yearly subscription

### 1/5 — Terrible advertising

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.0*

I bought a rowing machine that had their programming on it. It said to buy a membership to row with them. I did that then I couldn’t use over half what they advertised because I had to then buy the pro bundle. This wasn’t in the advertising, both packages said 10 000+ workouts. It never said one had limited amount.
All the top videos to pick from and pro package only.
I will be unsubscribing

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.0*

The app has declined over the last few years. It prompts me to log in every single day when I go to use it, followed by a membership screen. After editing that I can finally use my pro-form bike. App has trouble saving my workouts as well. I have had several 30 minute workouts fail to save to the app when after hitting finished. Which is the whole reason I use the app

### 1/5 — Redesign needed

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.0*

This app needs to be redesigned to a more modern workout app. Let us play our own music, let us pause/rewind/skip ahead, improve connection to Apple Watch

### 1/5 — Don’t do it

*2026-08-19, version 3.9.0*

Waste of money
Also will not sync with Strava. For something so expensive you would expect everything to be seamless and it is far from it

### 1/5 — Nearly Impossible To Cancel Membership

*2026-08-14, version 3.9.0*

The app itself is good and I like the rowing workouts a lot. However, they have changed the process for canceling a membership and it is unbearable. Rather than canceling online or in the app, you have to call a call center in India and struggle through broken English to cancel the membership. Easily the worst membership cancelation process I have ever been through.

### 1/5 — Just Dumb

*2026-08-13, version 3.9.0*

Can’t connect to Apple Watch or equipment without internet. Even though you have cell service. In 2026, this is utterly incompetent

### 1/5 — Don’t do it

*2026-08-13, version 3.9.0*

Waste of money

### 5/5 — Easy breezy

*2026-08-17, version 3.9.0*

Love that I can access an iFit workout on any piece of equipment or at home. It’s also super to be able to search available options based in my moid or ask AI for suggestions to enhance my routine. Plus seeing fab locations is just awesome.

### 5/5 — Love it💜

*2026-08-17, version 3.9.0*

So far so good really nicely designed .

### 5/5 — AppleTV

*2026-07-21, version 3.8.1*

Why are so many of the workouts, particularly Pilates and yoga, missing from the AppleTV app? Most of us are not lying on the floor trying to look up at a tiny treadmill screen 6ft in the air. We’re in front of our TV on the living room floor.

Other than that, I use my elliptical all the time and love iFit. I hope they fix the AppleTV app.

### 5/5 — Win Win

*2026-07-20, version 3.8.1*

C’est super intéressant et de très beaux paysages ce qui nous garde en action de jour en jour, j’adore 😎☀️

### 5/5 — 7 Month User

*2026-07-19, version 2.6.93*

I’ve been using iFit and the trainers for about 7 months. I’ve appreciated Ms. Gray and Mrs. Miller’s motivation while on my journey. I’ve dropped 35 lbs and its all thanks to these 2 who have motivated me to set my goals and achieve them. This app is for those of you who want to get out what you put in and with the help of an outstanding team, you can! Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Interval workouts in the Balkans

*2026-07-19, version 3.8.1*

Love these workouts!!

### 5/5 — Love the variety!

*2026-07-15, version 3.8.1*

I love the ability to work out in so many places around the world from the comfort of home. Short or long the workouts offer such a variety.
