### 2/5 — Still get clogs

*2025-12-22, version 4.0.0*

I still sometimes get clogs. Not as many as I did before but still clogs. No manual dispense button in app—there should be one. I tried to hold the button down on the hardware unit for 10 seconds to do a manual dispense but it doesn’t work.

### 2/5 — Waste of money

*2025-10-05, version 4.0.0*

App is faulty, device doesn’t dispense when it’s supposed to, no option within the app to manually dispense. Too much nonsense just to swap bottles. Waste of money.

### 2/5 — Needs Improvement

*2025-09-05, version 4.0.0*

I’ve owned the IFLO for about two years, and installation was very straightforward. The app seemed helpful and easy to use at first. When I initially set it up, I used the three-month bottles, and they dispensed exactly as advertised—once every month for three months.

Later, I decided to upgrade to the six-month bottle. After about a month, I noticed it was still following a three-month cycle, dispensing twice a month instead of once. I did some research and called customer support. They explained that the system adjusts based on the time of year and my location (South Florida).

Here’s the issue: I don’t run my HVAC constantly, so it doesn’t make sense for the IFLO to dispense based solely on season or geography. It should be tracking actual usage instead. Because of this, I now have to remove IFLO from the app and manually dispense once a month just to keep the six-month bottle on schedule.

I really think IFLO should correct this in the app and allow consumers to choose their preferred dispensing method—whether based on time, location, or actual HVAC usage.

### 2/5 — No customization

*2024-11-17, version 3.6.0*

You are forced to stick to the automated dispense schedule, supposedly to ensure effectiveness. So you are essentially forced into a subscription even if you don't use auto-ordering. There should absolutely be different scheduling options: the recommended automatic dispense, fully manual, every 2 weeks, monthly etc. And having to "validate" the bottle with a qr code is annoying. Obviously the business model is to make money from the refills just like printers and ink, but they are expensive. A $25 bottle at least every 3 months plus ac filters adds up to pretty high routine maintenance cost compared to pouring vinegar in the line or blowing it out periodically.

### 1/5 — Can not control dispense time

*2024-11-09, version 3.6.0*

My unit is in “winter mode” now and is not scheduled to dispense for 6 months. I do not have the ability to change it in the app and customer service told me they can not change it. They told me to just push the button on the front of the dispenser every two weeks for 6 months. Really? This is the best solution?

### 1/5 — App is ok but the product is garbage

*2024-11-09, version 3.6.0*

Don’t buy this product if you are having a white slime issue. It does absolutely nothing for it except turn it blue. Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — A new poll great device most people cannot program

*2024-11-03, version 3.6.0*

Don’t buy it

I just spent 2 hours trying to get my iflo to accept a new cleaning cartridge that still doesn’t work

You should be able to install a new cartridge manually and call it a day

A manual dispenser option should be offered!

I’m going to cut my unworkable cleaning cartridge open and dispense manually

What a ridiculous waste of time and frustration

Just buy the cleaning fluid and do it yourself

This is by far the dumbest product that I bought in several years

The phone instructions don’t even work!

The electronic WiFi portion of this device should be tossed as it is not intuitive

Plus pay phone apps keep popping up the look like part of the application

Buy the fluid only and do it yourself manually!!!

### 1/5 — This should get no stars

*2024-08-08, version 3.4.0*

I’ve tried several times to connect. I flow to my Wi-Fi. Unsuccessful at every attempt. Spoke with advisor at the company, same issue. She cannot get the iFLO connected to my Wi-Fi. Back to Home Depot it goes! Nobody available on weekends, or after 5 PM to help. poor Customer Service and three wasted hours of my time. Save your money!

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2024-08-04, version 3.4.0*

Have tried multiple times to connect iFLO to Wi-Fi countless resets and taking batteries in and out, factory reset, vpn off will not connect to Wi-Fi defeats the whole purpose

### 1/5 — Need to give out your phone number

*2024-06-20, version 3.2.0*

It seems that this does not work unless you download the app and provide your phone number. That does not make life easier. Already get enough spam. No directions in the box. Need to provide your phone number into the app first. This product is a great idea, but having to manage an app and give out personal information is not. Imagine buying a box of nuts and bolts and having to give out your phone number to use them.

### 1/5 — Bad IoT

*2026-06-13, version 4.3.0*

A device that REQUIRES Internet access? I have to use an app to scan every single bottle just so the device works? I have to create an account just to use a simple device that dispenses a solution into s drain line? No thank you. This is way too aggressive and a VERY bad/dangerous practice.

### 1/5 — App no working

*2026-06-11, version 4.3.0*

After having installed for over a year my app is non responsive and when I open it’s prompting me to create an account as if I’m a new user. FIX IT

### 1/5 — Device is great, app sucks.

*2026-05-28, version 4.3.0*

You can’t change the dispense schedule. So if you delayed changing the cartridge and need to dispense solution immediately thinking the schedule will auto adjust, it won’t do that nor will it allow you to.

### 1/5 — I flow

*2026-05-15, version 4.3.0*

Product works great if you can get it to work because the app is absolute garbage

### 1/5 — App only exists to collect your data

*2026-01-15, version 4.3.0*

First thing it wants is a phone number to send a passcode, for an account that to never set up. If you select not in the US, at least you can give it an email address instead. Then when setting it up, it wants your home address to “pick the correct schedule”, another excuse to collect your data, and it again requires a phone number and your full name. Why not give us region or state options? After that, the app wants access to your location information, again unneeded. Then it forces you to take a picture of the install for some reason. Tapping skip does nothing and forces you to take a pic. On top of that, they require you to validate the cartridge with a QR code, I’m assuming as a type of DRM to lock you into their bottle subscription.

At least if you botch the online setup it lets you do an offline one, though you lose out on the notification options.

### 1/5 — Not sure who has created this app!

*2026-01-14, version 4.3.0*

The app design is horrible… I can’t even get past the initial screen because the confirmation code hasn't arrived… So the whole system is unusable. Sorry, guys, your product owner should be smarter and dress better in the onboarding flow!

### 1/5 — App crashes on iOS 26

*2025-12-04, version 4.0.0*

When launched, the splash screen appears for 20 secs, then disappears. Devs, please update the app for iOS 26.

### 1/5 — I hope the product works!

*2025-05-24, version 3.9.0*

Setup so far has been RIDICULOUS!! Download the app and start it up to install the product. You enter your number and wait for a message. Except the message never shows up! The you check your voicemails and you discover it’s an automated voicemail message! This is not mentioned in the app. This product better work well or I will go lower than 1 star.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2025-04-26, version 3.9.0*

Everything in my house is connected to the Internet right now, but the app keeps telling me that my Wi-Fi is not connected to the Internet and it won’t let me link the I-Flow app or set it up. Total waste of money.

### 1/5 — Bad First Impression

*2025-01-18, version 3.6.0*

I have experienced A/C shutdowns and leaks from drain line slime buildup, and we live in South Florida, it is not fun when the A/C breaks down. I picked up this product in Lowes (Royal Palm Beach) and was excited to give it a shot. I downloaded the App, and the very first step is to enter a phone number and receive the verification code via text message. I entered my phone number over and over and over again, no text message! Cannot continue without completing that step. Bad first impression, it’s going right back to Lowe’s!

### 5/5 — Works great.

*2026-01-15, version 4.3.0*

I always seem to be over confident in my abilities to do home projects. This app made installation and upkeep of my iFlo system really easy. Love the videos, very helpful.

### 5/5 — No issues

*2025-04-03, version 3.8.0*

I was very skeptical when I saw reviews online about the app but the app was surprisingly easy and helpful to understand how to use the iFlo the videos are crystal clear great quality and directions are very easy to follow, make sure you don’t ignore the prompted messages and helpful tips when installing it uses your phone to connect to your wifi and I think other people has issues but I just followed the directions and the setup was easy.

### 5/5 — Awesome App!!!

*2025-02-07, version 3.7.0*

I bought my iFLO 6 months ago, and it was very easy to setup. The app is straightforward and goes step by step with installing device and replacing cartridges.

### 5/5 — Amazon app

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2025-02-07, version 3.7.0*

This app is the best ever yo, it’ll get your iFLO cleaning your drain line so download it, y’all

### 5/5 — Great for iOT

*2024-08-23, version 3.4.0*

I have many iOT devices in my smart home and this is actually one of the better ones. The main purpose of these apps is usually to connect the device to your WiFi - this did that well and gives me updates on the status of the cleaning fluid in my AC drain line. Peace of mind is worth the slight hassle of connecting to the WiFI that all these iOT devices presents

### 5/5 — No frills

*2024-06-22, version 3.2.0*

Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Had to attempt a couple times to connect WiFi but the set up videos were helpful.

### 4/5 — Installed today

*2026-04-29, version 4.3.0*

The app was very easy to use only 20 min.

### 2/5 — Locked down = Locked out

*2026-02-28, version 4.3.0*

After carefully following the installation instructions, the physical unit would still not stay mounted to my handler and every time it fell it would depress the dispense button, which meant the bottle was basically empty after about a month. Now, the bottle is saying “invalid” in the app and won’t dispense despite having some solution remaining. Because everything is locked down, there’s not a way to use the rest of the bottle and I’m out the cost of that remainder, which is not cheap. This is a good product in theory, but ultimately fails when you get paywalled out of using product you’ve already purchased. Not worth the hassle.
