### 4/5 — So far so good

*2026-03-08, version 13.3.53*

Coming from FlyQ. I like that I can pick and layout the instruments, which ones, which size, which color, and how they are organized.
The one thing I am not a fan of is the courseness of the sketching tools compared tomFlyq

### 5/5 — Review

*2025-11-20, version 13.3.53*

Have used many EFB’s, including ForeFlight, IFLY is my hands down favorite.

### 5/5 — Great Aviation App

*2025-10-19, version 13.3.53*

I really like iFly EFB. Its pretty robust, works well with my Avidyne. Its easy to use and importantly they don’t nickel & dime me for added features like geo referenced charts. Also they actually pick up the phone when you call and give you personal attention if you need support.

### 5/5 — Custom waypoints

*2025-09-21*

Over the last several years ,I have flown all the lower 48 states. During these flights ,we added custom waypoints . They give us at a glance , restroom stops , fuel stops ( we use Mo-gas, and that is hard to find in some areas ) . We also have courtesy cars and hotels. Now when we plan a flight , we can quickly plan stops. We love this app! It is intuitive and fast. Our negatives on the app is that it doesn’t, give mo-gas locations, and the FBO info all needs updated. we have found more times than not , it to be inaccurate. So we land and then create custom waypoints info. Foreflight has better FBO information, but it costs too much and is more distracting to use in flight. This app could use a pilot entered fuel update tab , like Waze has, to enter current fuel options and prices at each stop.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed feedback! We’re glad custom waypoints have been useful for your trips. We’re always looking for ways to improve airport and FBO info, and the pilot-entered fuel update idea is a great suggestion.

### 5/5 — Best Flying Software on the iPad

*2025-09-14*

I have been using the "other" flying software for decades, in a jet, in smooth air, with the autopilot on. When I park the jet and hand fly my Swift, I use iFly EFB.

iFly EFB is amazingly intuitive. It works the way you would expect it to work. It makes planning GA flights simple. Its greatest strength, where it excels over the others, is how usable it is the cockpit. No straining to see tiny text or use small buttons. It simply is easy to use even on the bumpiest flight.

I have been flying with iFly EFB for ten years in my Swift. I wish I could take it to work in the jet they pay me to fly.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! We’re glad iFly has been easy to use in the cockpit and a good fit for hand-flying your Swift. We really appreciate the 10 years of support.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-08-18, version 13.3.53*

Stable easy to use app. Slowly beginning to use features like weight and balance, and checklist.

### 5/5 — Favorite av app

*2025-08-17, version 13.3.53*

Have used it for a couple of years and it has performed great. Have never had any issues in flight.

### 5/5 — Ugly but full featured

*2025-08-01, version 13.3.53*

Works well - interface that feels 1995. But endearing. Walter the president of the company is great. Great features. Very configurable. They listen to feedback.

### 5/5 — Custom waypoints

*2025-07-14*

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-07-14, version 13.3.53*

Great customer support, intuitive, accurate and all the information I need inflight. Flight planning is a strength of this application, much easier than others.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-06-24, version 13.3.53*

I have tried two other of the major nav platforms. Since my wife is not an Apple fan, I needed one for her that runs on Android. After using it on her phone, I think I’m dropping the other one. The only thing is I wish they had a logbook feature .

### 5/5 — Good stuff

*2025-06-19, version 13.3.53*

I have flown all over the country with iFly

### 5/5 — Simplest and best for vfr

*2025-06-02, version 13.3.53*

Easy cross country flight planning with fuel stops

### 5/5 — iFly EFB on Apple Silicon

*2025-05-09*

iFly EFB runs very nicely on recent Macintosh computers that have Apple Silicon chips. I’m sending this review from a Mac Studio with a 27-inch (diagonal) display, where the iPad version of iFly runs, both in tablet size and also in fullscreen mode. It will even display ADS-B traffic when a suitable receiver is connected via WiFi. I’ll never try the Mac Studio in flight; but it works nicely in the airplane on my wife’s recent MacBook laptop.

### 5/5 — Best aviation EFB that I tried.

*2025-04-05*

I have been using this app for years for VFR. It’s easy to use. Updates are regular and painless. Full of features: ground taxi maps, connection to adsb-in (i used stratus), weather overlay, ability to add your own sketches to the maps, terrain profiles, ability to program the layout of instruments on the screen, and more.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! We’re glad iFly has been easy to use and helpful for your VFR flying over the years. We really appreciate you mentioning so many of the features you use.

### 5/5 — Full Featured Easy to Use

*2025-03-27*

Probably one of the least expensive electronic flight bag tools that provides features others charge double for. And, if you want to know something, or need a little help, you just pick up the phone and talk to the team who are supporting it. The company spend time with users and pilots all over the country - from EAA Chapter meetings, pancake breakfasts, or Oshkosh. No other application or development team provides this level of interest or direct support at such an affordable price.

### 5/5 — iFly EFB on Apple Silicon Macs

*2025-02-23, version 13.2.37*

iFly EFB is not only the most intuitive iPhone, iPad, and Android EFB app for flying, it even runs on Macs with Apple Silicon chips. (That’s not very practical in flight because the tablets and phones are more suitable there. But it’s great fun to have iFly EFB open on a Mac desktop or laptop computer, if only just to check the weather plan a trip.

### 4/5 — iPad OS18 GPS Problems

*2025-02-06, version 13.2.37*

Great app however, on IPad iOS 18 and up I can’t get the gps working. It’s always weak and isn’t locking on a satellite.. this app worked perfectly on iOS 17 so I would like this to be fixed. iPad has all the proper settings turned on.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2023-02-27, version 11.1.48*

Just go with foreflight

### 1/5 — Not very good

*2018-05-04, version 10.2.75*

Absolutely no Canadian content. Useless for anyone flying outside the USA. Please get Canadian content.

### 1/5 — -/:;/-;:/

*2017-06-09, version 10.0.30*

Should say USA ONLY. Sad

### 1/5 — No canada map

*2016-02-19, version 9.3.24*

Just usa map deleted app

### 1/5 — Has Potential

*2013-12-08, version 8.0.65*

Has potential but not ready for prime time yet. Constant crashes. I currently use ForeFlight so I'm using that as the basis for comparison. The maps look great. Would be better if TAC display was seamless. Landscape mode is a must which does not exist yet. Flight planning could be improved. Instrument display is great - totally customizable. Fix the crashing and match or exceed foreflight and I may be switching to iFly in the future.

### 2/5 — App locks a lot!

*2025-06-16, version 13.3.53*

Moving form one menu to another found multiple times app locks and needs a restart losing it leaving options not saved!

### 2/5 — Only if it had aoa and ias when connected to Adair’s

*2020-05-13, version 11.0.50*

But alas it does not. It’s glitchy too.

### 2/5 — Close but, no Cigar

*2015-05-12, version 9.0.53*

I downloaded iFly GPS and took a few days to look it over and run through its features but, after realizing the program wouldn't work with my iPad 3 WiFi using an external Dual 150 GPS, I ended up deleting the app and going back to my WingX program.

If in the future iFly GPS decides to incorporate ALL the Dual external GPS devices, including the 150, I may give them another try.

### 2/5 — Not so great

*2014-03-06, version 8.0.65*

Great if you fly in the USA. I don't so it's useless to me. No option to fly outside the USA at all.

### 3/5 — IFLY software thumbs up, 740B thumbs down

*2024-04-01, version 13.0.30*

Loving the IFLY software but do not like their tablet 740B much at all. I much prefer the software running on my tablet (Ipad), as the 740B is extremely slow to load or to update software. Also, its internal battery will last about 10 minutes with out power. My IPAD has none of those drawbacks. Great software though….5 stars for it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Enormously comprehensive

*2026-07-08*

I’m relatively new to iflygps but the available features are more than impressive, it not only does all I want but adds features I do not have on my glass panel but wanted. It’s also easy to use and there are good how-to videos on their site. Highest recommendation.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that iFly EFB has exceeded your expectations and is providing features that complement your glass panel. We work hard to make the app both powerful and easy to use, so it's great to know you're finding value in the interface and our how-to videos. We truly appreciate your recommendation and your support. Fly safe!

### 5/5 — Adventure Pilot IFly

*2026-05-09*

I have used IFly since 2012 and will never switch to Foreflight. They continuously improve features and it has has everything and more than we need. It’s easy to use and also less expensive than Foreflight.

**Developer response:** Thanks for sticking with us since 2012! We really appreciate the support and are glad iFly EFB has been a good fit for your flying.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-04-06, version 14.0.57*

Love how easy it is to use and all the updates..

### 5/5 — My go-to flight planning tool and moving map GPS

*2026-03-22*

I’ve been using iFly since it first came out, and it’s perfect for what I need. It’s simple enough and easy to operate while flying, whether on mobile phone or GPS tablet. “Nearest” airport has saved me several times. I highly recommend it!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the awesome review! We’re glad iFly has been a reliable tool for you over the years, especially the Nearest feature. We really appreciate the recommendation.

### 5/5 — Nice assistant to my Dynon

*2026-02-18, version 13.3.53*

Works well and is a good value compared to other options.

### 5/5 — Makes flying less stressful

*2026-01-22*

I love how well the pilot interfaces with the IFLY EFB software. I found it much more intuitive than the other popular application out there. Cost was by far the most economical as well. I learn more of its features each time I watch the many training videos available!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great review! We’re glad iFly EFB has made flying less stressful and easy to use. We also appreciate you checking out the training videos.

### 5/5 — Exceptional value, resource and commitment to excellence!

*2026-01-06, version 13.3.53*

I’ve used iFly now for 14+ years. Lost without it.

### 5/5 — Easy

*2025-12-19, version 13.3.53*

Easy to learn … fingertip control… quick response … fewer steps for nav and information … So much simpler with far fewer steps than foreflight 👍🎄🖖

### 5/5 — Full Featured Easy to Use

**Developer response:** Thanks for the thoughtful review! We really appreciate the kind words and your support. Getting to work directly with pilots and hear from users like you is a big part of what helps us keep improving iFly.

### 5/5 — I like this app

*2025-11-30*

I’m old school. 9000 + hrs. I fly Cessna 337 Skymasters. I’m a dealer so I fly these planes all over the country.
I’m not a big fan of flight following or flying IFR. Who wants to be told what to do and where to go all the time.
I love to just fly. Take my route see what I want to see.
This program is perfect. Easy and quick to use. Flight planning is simple.
You still get weather and the info you need and want.
I fly my plane hands on. Autopilot off and radios turned down when I don’t need them. I feel, I listen and I communicate with my aircraft. Charles Lindbergh didn’t have flight following or IFR. He just flew his plane hands on.
This app is perfect for old school real hands on flying while still giving you the info you need.

**Developer response:** Thanks Captain Ron! We really appreciate the review. Glad iFly fits your style of flying and gives you the info you need while keeping things simple and quick to use.
