Too basic. *2023-04-20* It’s a good app, but I cannot find a way of converting decimal hours to hours and minutes. H.dd to HH:MM. Wish it could calculate a formula based on results from another formula... ### 5/5 — Awesome *2014-01-02, version 1.7* Awesome app! ### 2/5 — Very buggy *2013-11-27* While the basic functions of adding input fields, editing formulas, and running calculations are fairly straightforward and seem to work fine, this app is very flimsy and frustrating to use. I was on an airplane trying to use this, but with no wifi, the ad banner could not load and the app crashed every single time. The next time I had wifi, I went ahead and paid the $2.99 to remove the banner, otherwise the app would be crippled without a wifi connection, which is ridiculous. The app also does not save the order in which you add input fields or formula folders. Even if you edit and put them back in a specific order, it jumbles that order up after you hit 'done' and reload. This gets very annoying, especially when you are inputting data to 5-10 input fields and are forced to do it in a randomized order. Finally, now that the latest version is out (1.4 I think), the app now crashes every time I try to hit the Settings button. I installed (and paid for) this app because my graphing calculator seems to be irreparably broken, but all the glitches this app has override its potential usefulness. ### 4/5 — Pretty Good *2013-09-22* This is a great tool for simple formulas, but I wish it could do squares and square roots so I could do things like the Quadratic Formula ### 5/5 — Easy to use, powerful too! *2013-08-05* I was looking for an easy way to automate the calculation of a simple expression that I was getting tired of entering over and over. I found several apps that claimed to allow that, but all were hard to use. Then I found this app. I installed it, watched the how-to video for a bit, then set up my expression. Simple. The drag and drop editor for entering the expression is an excellent piece of programming. It asks a bunch of stuff at the beginning and even to upgrade to v 2.5. Wouldn't we already have that? 2. The question mark tells you how to make a formula, but you can't get out causing you to have to get out of the app and get back on, WHICH CAUSES YOU TO LOSE ALL OF YOUR PROGRESS. 3. The formula maker only shows 1 input field/constant field. Not helpful at all. The redesigned UI is terrible, clumsy, and confusing. It won't let me restore my purchase to remove ads. It deleted all the custom formula calculators I made using the previous version. I was able to write some of the common formulas that I use every day into it and so far it is working great! Anyone who uses angles like co-sign, sine and tangent formulas should know you have to write the angle and then convert to radiaons. Us tang(angle*PI/180) it’ll work well. Very good so far and exactly what I needed.
