They did not, it's getting worse. Tons of different ads doing it. Do they not use the app themselves? It's almost unusable at this point. My original complaint is below (to which I received a response saying they fixed it). I've been using iFunny for about 10 years and watched it slowly decline, but now they have ads completely cover the screen every 5-10 seconds as I'm trying to watch a video or read some comments. It uses your phone to crypto mine. This was once a good off the path social media app that wasn’t apart of the mega corps like X, Meta, Reddit, etc… But now? You get AI advertisements. The advertisements are hyper aggressive as well. You get more on here than stuff like 9anime. With them now adding in pop up ads which are extremely intrusive and no other app has this. The only good thing this app is no algorithm but the amount of negatives in this app is too far.
