The answer is because it allows drag and drop rearranging of the FX order, enabling near infinite variations and subtleties. The sounds included are top quality, the intro price a steal, and the bundle price for all IAP extras well worth taking a leap of faith. I really appreciate the fair pricing for the in app bundle purchase. The fair pricing along with the quality of the sound effects included shows the commitment of the developer to deliver quality products. For the poor review that was given by a buyer, first you have to know the basics of how to use these auv3 sound effect apps. Seriously is not that complicated, buy AUM load a sound app or plug your guitar, and then load this app as an effect. Is this that complicated to understand? Plenty of videos online as well. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Absolutely annoying advertising ! *2021-12-24, version 1.1.24* I think that it is so tacky ,annoying and unprofessional that when I open the plugin that there is no option to turn off the 3 new option advertising for new in app purchases! When it first came out I bought it with all of the available options. If you have new options, put them in the menu, not in the slots! ### 1/5 — Crap... works with nothing *2019-09-08, version 1.0.1* I bought it and tried to get it to work for a reasonable amount of time but it would not. I use Auria for recording and I couldn’t get it to work with IAA or AudioBus so it is worthless to me. I couldn’t even get it to work as a stand-alone app. I really wanted it to work because I love the Overloud products and have them for both my Auria iPad and for my PC. Please enhance the current version and I will revisit my review. Don't know if this can be fixed but whenever I use a pure synth preset with the Fantasy verb, I have to go in and remove or change it. It's just that one FX, The other FX are/seem to be ok.... Apart from that it's good......🙏 ### 4/5 — Might be 5-Stars - we’ll see! *2019-09-06, version 1.0.1* I’m writing this now rather than after more extensive use because of the reviewer who gave it a one star and who is obviously penalizing the developer for his/her own incompetence. Of course it works! It works great! So far, I’ve liked just about everything in this FX suite. I can’t honestly give it five stars when I’ve only used it for a few days. But so far I’m very happy. The included modulations such as chorus sound as good as any I’ve used on iOS, with guitar at least. The included basic spring reverb is especially nice for guitar ... not because it sounds especially like a spring reverb, but because it just plain sounds good. The included preamp sounds pretty good as long as you follow with a cabinet simulator IR - or possibly if you use one of the IAP amp sims. I haven’t given those a run for the money yet. The wah has some good sounds to be found, with enough tweaking. The overdrive sounds really good (though I think I prefer a more TS-9 flavor most times). So? Don’t listen to the chump who can’t get it working. It works and sounds great. At least 4 stars great. Maybe 5. Make no mistake, the app works just fine. You have to long hold on a blank rack space to open the effect browser to load an effect. That's it. This app is absolutely amazing! Sounds incredible, has a huge selection of effects, is very flexible etc. Within minutes of playing with it for the first time, I was completely blown away. The IAP bundle is totally worth getting. My favorite effect so far is the FVerb, which has a built-in noise gate and freeze function. Perfect for creating classic 80s drums and huge sounds. Its layout and controls are also atypical to most other reverbs. This app is truly a steal for the price, even with the IAPs. ### 5/5 — Great quality and price *2019-09-08, version 1.0.1* This is an amazing collection of effects, superbly presented. I immediately bought the IAP bundle which is great value and some of the effects are worth the money on their own. Well worth the cost of admission ### 5/5 — Amazing FX Audio Unit *2019-09-08, version 1.0.1* I’ve purchased every app from this company and I’m never disappointed. I tested this up with GarageBand which is my favorite song writing app and it works perfectly. It’s great because it opens up each track for so many more FX since this only takes one slot but gives you the entire FX rack. Endless possibilities and great sound. The buy all option was a great add but a little late for me, I purchased almost all IAP FX separately and then saw you added the buy all option which I now did. I could of saved about $30 if I waited another couple days. So far works with everything I use including AUM and Audiobus. Also tested with Cubasis and GarageBand and works there as well.
