Can’t refresh page. Some categories are empty. Freezes a lot and icons randomly disappearing. Promoted as an app to create a shopping list, doesn’t even let you see all products. Cannot productively shop this way. See you at Coles instead. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2022-04-24, version 2.4* IGA could learn how to build an App from the majors. ### 2/5 — Useful but requires improvements and fixes *2022-04-16* First of all, it does do the basics of looking at the catalogue, searching for products however there are a few flaws that hinder the experience. First of all, not all products that are in IGA are actually listed here, the website is more accurate, secondly, the app doesn’t seem to be fully optimised for my iPhone, I use iPhone X and it doesn’t use all the screen which is a little annoying. Other than that, here are few suggestions that I think will make the app much better. I think by tapping on products, it should give more than just the price, it should mention the dietary label and ingredients, so it would be a bit more useful, so the people who actually care about their health can easily do so just through simple taps. Dark Mode would be nice, at times of the day, the white light from the background can be eye straining, and also the dark mode will allow us to save battery. And finally the obvious optimisation for phones with taller displays, the apps picture show offs show it’s possible but when I open the app, it’s completely different. Got it to check the price of capsicums, don’t worry you can’t unless it is on special and in their catalogue. If there is a way I will have dumped it by the time I get told. Willing to spend this much time to review it, spent longer trying to get it going. Can’t put less than one star, what a shame, it deserves less. ### 1/5 — Waste of time. *2021-11-12* This app is next to useless as you can only search for specials. Need an app like Woolies and Coles where you can build a shopping list to use in store. If it isn’t working or maintained delete from App store itherwise waste people’s time damages own reputation. ### 1/5 — Useless: Cannot search products not on sale *2020-04-17* I would love to know who the genius was that commissioned the developer to make a grocery app that will only allow you to search for products that are in their weekly sale catalogue. Total fail and defeats the entire purpose of having the app. Had high hopes but falls well short of competitors. At least with competitor’s apps I can build a shopping list that contains products that are not on sale. IGA needs to fire the guy who paid good money for a lame duck app. ### 2/5 — Setting Up *2018-07-20* Picked my local IGA store, but app changed it to a store over 30 kilometres away. Uninstalled and tried again, then gave me another store about 10 kilometres away. There is, or I couldn’t find it, where you can change the Store location you require. Same goes for website. The products are not all there and it keeps freezing. ### 1/5 — CHANGES NEEDED!!! *2017-06-12, version 2.0* This is a good app if you only buy things on special that are listed in the catalogue. You can only search for products & add them to your shopping list if they are in the current catalogue. Please update with: 1/ search for all products not just those on special 2/ bring back the barcode scanner What is there works properly but the IGA App needs the two changes/additions listed above ASAP. It would then be very helpful & practical and I'm sure it would rate 5 stars with everyone. ### 1/5 — Iga app *2017-03-24, version 2.0* Loved the old app. New one is a shocker. Have had to reload it as it didn't work. Still doesn't. No point having it. The screenshots are absolutely not updated and it looks like it’s on an older iPhone 6 or something. But if I want to find out the price of my say ‘Monsters 4pk Caffenated drinks, I have to drive there. I have to try t& find the closest park, as only 2 disabled available, get myself & canes out of car & walk in to peruse the aisles. I am in pain & exhaustion, then I mostly have to leave as it is cheaper elsewhere. Total waste of time, energy, pain, fuel & frustration. We don’t need 2 things in the same App doing the same thing. The ‘catalogue & the ‘product search’ of the catalogue. I love IGA otherwise. I’d just like to be able to shop there without effort & product search before hand so I know what I’m buying where. And if you want to look up say, Famers Market Dog Food Cans. It would give a few dog food varieties bags included, then Farmers yoghurt, canned food & other food. … STOP! The actual item never came up. Same with Monsters. Vs, Red Bull, Coffee milk, coffee, monster toys. Some even reading these reviews from the company??? Nobody has replied to anyone. I thought IGA cared about their locals.?!? ### 1/5 — Poor search engine *2024-08-04, version 2.4* Disappointing search, looking for Australian frozen salt and pepper squid, no luck, tried entering seafood, results only showed 1x frozen fish fillets and canned tuna. More accurate title and a full product search please ### 4/5 — Suggestion *2013-03-31, version 1.1.1* I would like to see a 'garden' category on the app. Also if you look for Riverton (mike and sue's) IGA store on the map it is in between the North Atlantic Ocean and the South Atlantic Ocean. I don't think I would easily find it with those directions. Other than that I find it a very helpful shopping list app. ### 3/5 — New update disappointment *2020-12-19* The new update replaced my current shopping list with what I assume is an old one🙁 ### 3/5 — Product Search is only a Specials Search *2019-05-19* I use supermarket apps like this one to locate which stores have the items I’m shopping for so I can just go to one for everything I need in a single shop. Unfortunately the Product Search within this app only searches the specials advertised in the latest catalogue and therefore isn’t very useful. I’d like to support my local IGA store, even if it might cost a little more to do so, if I was able to plan my shopping around their product availability but it’s more convenient to go to the bigger supermarkets knowing what products they have on their shelves even though my local IGA is much closer to where I live (I can walk to it whereas I have to drive to the other supermarkets). ### 3/5 — Ok shopping app *2018-01-09* It’s your run of the mill supermarket app. What would make it great if I could add my rewards card, let alone link it to Apple wallet ### 3/5 — Not a bad app 👍 *2013-01-13, version 1.0.9* Although very basic, it does all it promises to do. 1.
