iGBA: GBA & GBC Retro Emulator

• Controllers work over USB-C now, not just Bluetooth. A wired pad used to respond only to Start. Every button is found now, and one plugged in before you open iGBA is picked up too. • The on-screen buttons can no longer disappear. If yours vanished and only reinstalling brought them back, iGBA repairs that by itself the next time it opens. • Touching the thumbstick no longer cancels the D-pad, and unplugging a controller lets go of the button instead of holding it down. • A save state that cannot be loaded now says so, instead of reporting success and leaving your game exactly where it was. • Speeds between 1x and 2x. 1.5x is free. • Cancel your subscription straight from Settings, whether or not you are subscribed. • The D-pad now goes where you point. Every corner used to own a third of the pad, so a thumb that drifted turned Up into Up+Left. It now reads the direction you actually pressed, its touch area reaches past the artwork, and diagonals can be switched off for games that only use four directions. • Change your controls without leaving the game — the pause menu has a Controls row. Open it, try the change, carry on playing. • Game audio is remembered per game: mute the one whose music grates and the next one keeps its soundtrack. • The sound no longer cuts out. In busy moments — a long attack animation, a new map loading — the audio could drop for a fraction of a second. That gap is gone. • Cheats tell you when they will not work, including a cheat file that only matches part of your game's title. That is what French, Italian and Spanish players were being handed. • Lock the screen to portrait or landscape, in Settings, so the game never rotates while you play. • Pokemon Self Trade works again on Game Boy. The waiting screen never ended — and on German, French, Italian and Spanish copies the option never even appeared. • A trade over the link cable is no longer lost when you disconnect. The game had written the trade to its save; iGBA had not. • The game runs at its real speed again. Frames your phone failed to deliver were never given back, so everything ran about 2% slow with the music stretched to match. • Cheat codes work out their own format. Action Replay, Pro Action Replay and GameShark hide two different encryptions on Game Boy Advance, and choosing the wrong one used to fail without telling you.
