Igbo African culture is rich and the Igbo language is spoken by millions of people in Africa and beyond. Igbo language has various dialects and as much as possible, Igbo101 adopts the standard Igbo for learning called Igbo-Izugbe. 

Igbo101 is fun and exciting combining colorful graphics, animations, games, text and sound to make Igbo language easy to learn.

I think this is a good app for all ages but it needs more. I think there should be more routes of learning and creativity so this can be the best “go-to-guide” for Igbo learning. Please update the app for more interactive features and possible dialogue

I’m a grown woman and also a law student and I use this as a nice pass time game to learn some new words, sentences, and concepts to bring to the dinner table (and surprise my family). It also helps to make it easier to converse and understand at a higher proficiency which leaves room to learn more complex Igbo words and phrases. I’ve paid for the whole app (a collection of 3 separate purchases). It was not expensive at all — about $9 CAD, which is about $6USD to have access to the entire app.

Me and my 2-year-old sister LOVE 💖 it! In fact I’ve already completed the first free part of the island 🌴 (and I’m only 11!). My family is all Igbo so they’re always testing me on all I have learnt! I really recommend this app to anyone trying to learn Igbo! Dalu!

I was able to show of a few words when I visited Nigeria! My family and friends were impressed. But now I can’t get this app to load past the main screen and I’ve bought all of the lessons at least twice now. I really want this app to work.
