There is no way to undo it. I redownload the app and it still locks me out. Ridiculous. Oh, and the app support page is a dead link… ### 1/5 — App No Longer Works *2026-08-20, version 6.7.2* I used to access this content multiple times a day. I clicked the wrong button and now the app won’t let me in. Uninstalled multiple times and still can’t access. Terrible design. ### 1/5 — Age lock out pass… *2026-08-18, version 6.7.2* Locked out by age restrictions I’m out! ### 2/5 — Logging on issues *2026-08-14, version 6.6.2* For some time now I have to completely delete the app and reinstall before it lets me log in. Otherwise I log in and try and make a comment and it repeatedly tells me I need to log in despite doing so several times already. ### 1/5 — For You Section *2026-08-14, version 6.6.2* The For You section does not update or show anything worthwhile. No option to get rid of it. Just a broken app as it stands. ### 1/5 — Adult ads and misleading filtering *2026-08-13, version 6.6.2* 2 huge problems. 1 it has always been completely overrun with ads and affiliate link which are annoying. Recently however they have started introduced adult ads into the app and it’s completely unacceptable for an app primarily targeted at young adults and underage children. 2 I have always used filter by newest and it just doesn’t care. It still forces its algorithm based scroll which I can’t stand. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2026-08-06, version 6.6.2* Edit: why in the world does it only work in portrait mode?!! Not a bad app, but some aspects, such as ads that make a page unreadable, ruin it. And it's about time we had a dark mode too. Edit w: downgraded as still no landscape feature! Edit 3: it won't let me log in to comment on stories. Terrible app ### 1/5 — Incompetent Gaming Negligence *2026-08-01, version 6.6.2* This stupid app won't let me login with my password. It's incompetently designed and should be banned from the App Store. ### 1/5 — It works until it doesn’t *2026-07-23, version 6.6.2* I use the app quite a bit and would like to engage in comments more, but as another reviewer said, it asks me to log in again (even though I’m logged in) if I want to comment. It doesn’t always do this, but enough to be an annoyance and me change my review until it’s fixed. The “for you” section isn’t curated very well and the ratio of ad promotions and what not to actual articles is way out of balance. Love IGN and the IGN crew, but the app needs help. ### 1/5 — Used to be my go-to for gaming news… *2026-07-22, version 6.6.2* This app and company honestly just needs to die…. This used to be my go-to app for gaming news. I was on it every other day. Now, I might jump on once every few months because it’s literally just 95% articles with zero substance about some actor who said something about something, and ads, ads, and more ads…. What a shame…. I can literally scroll on this app for 5 minutes straight before I see anything interesting…. Then if I want to comment on something, I can’t even login…. My guess is IGN got in their chest about people commenting on articles about how pointless they were.
