### 4/5 — Replay

*2026-07-19*

Great app. Annoying that it logs you out constantly. I would like there to be a replay file that keeps track of your replays. It’s not satisfying just to change a games designation to “playing” then back to “beat” with no record of the replay.

### 4/5 — Overall great

*2026-04-12, version 1.2.43*

Really only thing missing is to sort your backlog by the order you want to play them in

### 3/5 — Great idea, in need of QoL fixed

*2026-03-27, version 1.2.43*

Love the UI and way to keep track of my games. However, I’ve always had occasional bugs and issues rating games that support hasn’t helped me with. So that part’s annoying.

### 4/5 — Great interface

*2026-02-06, version 1.2.39*

I like the feel of tracking my games especially with how it integrates with howlongtobeat and you can locate every game under the sun in this app. I find this interface the best for keeping track of my backlog, wishlist and completed games. I really wish there was a calendar widget or an option to input Wishlisted games (with releases) into my Apple calendar. This would be the icing on the cake and would
make my review 5 stars. Hope you guys consider adding this as a feature in the future!

### 4/5 — Constant log in

*2026-02-02, version 1.2.39*

Solid app! Please fix the bug causing me to constantly need to log back in 🙏

### 2/5 — Could be Better

*2025-11-28, version 1.2.35*

I love the app when it works properly, but it seems like every other update breaks it where I get constant UI errors and am unable to add/remove games and mark their status.

### 2/5 — Good Idea - Needs some work

*2025-11-26, version 1.2.35*

Love the idea of this, I would use it all the time but it’s just too buggy in its current state.

I currently can’t change the status of any game in my library, it just throws back error messages

### 2/5 — Something broke

*2025-11-24, version 1.2.35*

Usually a great app for logging completed games. However I’ve recently started receiving an error message when trying to leave a review. The error says:
Pushlibraryinteractionevent is not a function.

### 4/5 — Is good, but lacks features

*2025-10-27, version 1.2.34*

The app is pretty much complete, it offers a good metric of evaluation, but is needed more features like Backlogged (friend and follow other user and more customizable profile)

### 4/5 — Cool app, not for me

*2025-09-30, version 1.2.33*

I got way too much OCD to keep up with an app like this, but I can see how it can be useful to some people. More platform integrations would be helpful and also, allow us to delete our account.

### 2/5 — Cool idea. Buggy Mess

*2025-07-26, version 1.2.26*

Trying it again since it released to see if they fixed any bugs. They haven’t. Still can’t post a review after typing it up. Just freezes on that page.

### 3/5 — Captcha issue

*2025-07-09, version 1.2.26*

Giving 3 stars because of Captcha, it just keeps generating new captchas even after completing multiple times. Great app though. Giving 3 stars because I’m not able to login because of this captcha issue.

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2025-07-05, version 1.2.26*

Impossible to rate games now. App has become extremely glitchy and buggy. Too bad but it’s IGN so not surprised

### 4/5 — Great platform, so-so app

*2025-06-14, version 1.2.25*

I believe IGN Playlist is a great game cataloging website. However, the app is very buggy. Still usable, just very annoying to use at times.

### 2/5 — Enjoying it!

*2025-05-24, version 1.2.25*

5/24/25: bugs piling up so 5 stars -> 2 stars as they haven’t been fixed in a couple weeks now. Platforms & statuses I’ve set just disappearing. When you select 1 of the 2 again they show back up but no reason you should have to do this. Now you can’t post any full rating. It just bugs out and shows the last screen twice and won’t let you post or X it out. Fix the app already , rating goes back up.
10/19/22: Really enjoying the app so far. Been playing around with it since it first came out in TestFlight. Love that it has a dark mode. Love that they have How Long To Beat built in (would love if it told me a total for each category (Playing, Backlog, Paused, Quit) vs having to make a playlist for it to tell you but oh well). Would like if it they made it a few less steps for dual categories (Playing + Beaten or Beaten + Quit) so you don’t have to be in Playing then go to Beaten then add Playing or vice versa (makes you bounce around a little is all when replaying a game you beat). Overall, love the app! Pretty much all I want in a games list app to help remind me I’m a games hoarder who can’t get anything done, ha! I blame you MMORPG’s…

### 4/5 — Could use some bug fixes

*2025-04-06*

Easiest tracker app to use in my opinion but they stopped giving it updates!! I've encountered a couple of bugs that are annoying but not app breaking involving the playlists. Display games don't update or sometimes ordering lists is completely broken so I have to make a new list from scratch.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot see my own reviews

*2026-03-01, version 1.2.43*

App is buggy. Spent time reviewing games to look back on and when I try going back to see my old reviews I find that the app sometimes says they are there and lets me see it and sometimes prompts me to start a review for the first time. Do not waste your time compiling reviews until this is fixed.

### 1/5 — Can’t look at lists anymore!

*2026-01-08, version 1.2.37*

Since the update when I click on any of my lists eg currently playing or wish list the app just boots me out. It was working fine the day before but now when I open the app a pokeball flashes and as soon as I try to look at my lists the app closes. Please fix this as I have spent a lot of time setting the app up with all of my games

### 1/5 — Always Crashes

*2026-01-07, version 1.2.37*

This app crashes every time I try to open “my games” or “wishlist”

### 1/5 — Buggy Mess

*2026-01-07, version 1.2.37*

Can’t click on backlog. Crashes app. Cant click on wishlist. Crashes app. Go to contact support? Page has been deleted/can’t be found.

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2026-01-07, version 1.2.37*

App crashes any time I try to view my library

### 1/5 — Doesn‘t work

*2025-11-30, version 1.2.35*

I cannot rate any games - an error message pops up and the rating is never saved. This makes the app useless

### 1/5 — Could be great

*2025-11-28, version 1.2.35*

This app was awesome until it stopped working. I really liked the app too so it’s unfortunate that it no longer works. It errors out whenever I try to add or change the status of a game. And it won’t even let me rate a game anymore. I’ll update my review if they ever fix it but I’ll move onto something else and probably won’t be back.

### 1/5 — Please fix.

*2025-11-27, version 1.2.35*

Functioned fine until 2 days ago. Error code now appears anytime I add a game to wishlist, backlog, playing, etc. Have to close the app for anything to save. Can’t rate games.

### 1/5 — Scummy Data Selling Practices

*2025-08-02, version 1.2.27*

The app was a cute way to track games played and worked just fine. However, IGN just added forced data sharing practices where you HAVE to consent to them sharing your data with advertisers, including your IP address… WHAT? No thank you IGN, I’ll keep a notepad myself.

### 1/5 — Intrusive data practices ruin an otherwise decent app

*2025-08-02, version 1.2.27*

The idea behind IGN Playlist is solid — track what you’re playing, organize your backlog, and discover new games. Unfortunately, it’s completely undermined by the app’s aggressive data collection policies.

You can’t even access basic features like account settings or deletion without first consenting to share your IP address, game purchases, trailer views, and more with third-party advertisers and analytics companies. Worse, IGN openly states they have no control over how those third parties use your data once it’s shared.

I deleted the app immediately after reading that. It’s disappointing to see such a promising tool locked behind privacy-invasive practices.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-03-19, version 1.2.43*

Excellent app for organizing your gaming life. It is beautiful, functional, and very useful for tracking games and creating lists. I gave it the highest rating because the experience is great. It would be even better with Brazilian Portuguese translation.

### 5/5 — Buena biblioteca de juegos

*2026-01-16, version 1.2.38*

La utilizo para llevar un registro de lo que voy jugando, la verdad es que me parece muy útil

### 5/5 — Crashes

*2026-01-09, version 1.2.38*

App keeps crashing when I try to open my playlists. App support link in App Store is also broken.

1/8/26 edit - fixed it in less than a day, good work.

### 5/5 — Love the app but

*2026-01-07, version 1.2.37*

Last update has a bug that must be solved immediately, doesn’t
allow to see your lists on the library

### 5/5 — Great App in 2025 - Hope for more!

*2025-03-27*

It’s a great app that has a robust library and basic tracking functionality.
Things I’d like to see is streamlined navigation within a game. Way too many taps to complete tasks. I’d also like to see more backlog states. For example, “Ongoing” for games like Mario Party, jackbox, or overcooked.

### 5/5 — Fantastic and Rich database of gaming history

*2025-01-31, version 1.2.16*

An essential app for those who want to discover and learn about gaming history and new releases.

### 5/5 — Justo lo que buscaba

*2024-12-22, version 1.2.16*

Es justo lo que buscaba aunque se echa en falta el idioma Español.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT SO USEFUL!!!

*2024-09-27, version 1.2.16*

Thank you to all who worked to make this happen you are a lifesaver!

### 5/5 — Widget

*2024-09-03*

Please make a large widget that be added to the Home Screen that gives the option to show the Now Playing, WishList or Backlog list. Would make it ten times easier to just glance at the Home Screen then having to always open the app and sort through everything.

### 5/5 — Woefully under appreciated

*2024-08-28*

Love this app. Been using it for the last couple years to track games I’ve beaten and games I’m waiting to play. I’ve created favorites lists, console specific lists, and a list of all games I’ve ever played. It’s like a journal for my gaming hobby, I love it. People really should give this one a look.
