Love the interface and ease of use. Go Ignite!!! ### 5/5 — GAME CHANGER! *2022-07-06* If you are like me, the price kind of put me off because I needed 3 of them. After using it this past weekend, I would pay double! My show went from me lighting one cake at a time and running in previous years, to me sitting in a safe spot and launching essentially as many as I wanted almost simultaneously. This was especially helpful when it came to the finale. The app is super easy to navigate and it’s really foolproof. The software that Ignite offers was intuitive and precise. From start to finish, the preparation process was painless. To be honest, I was skeptical it would work - it was all so easy. The show went off flawlessly. I’m a customer for life. I have 2 modules and will be purchasing more for next year. On behalf of backyard pyros everywhere - THANK YOU!! This product is a game changer. ### 5/5 — Looking forward to increased consistency *2022-06-12* I have not actually received my module yet should be here Thursday (update coming soon), but I am VERY impressed with the online show designer and the mobile app. There is a slight learning curve as there is with any new program, but everything you need is there and seems to work flawlessly. 50mg audio file? No problem. Get the show from the online designer onto your phone? No problem. Print a report to show where to fuse? They have that too. To anyone that fuses everything by hand to a master cannon fuse with multiple music tracks and gets frustrated when the timing gets a little off - this seems to be the solution. I’m not going to fuse everything to the Module, but key things like start of boards, mortars that need to fire at specific times, etc, are all going to programmed into this. Really looking forward to putting on a great show this year and will update my review accordingly afterwords. ### 5/5 — Absolutely Amazing *2021-08-25, version 8.92* I'm writing this review about the new ignite firing system. As a professional fireworks technician I am very familiar with wireless firing systems. However when the ignite system came out to offer the power of shooting your consumer shows electronically from your iphone, I was skeptical that it could be that good. I've shot with it a couple times in my yard testing it out and it was solid, but this weekend I shot a 75th birthday party with it. I was able to set up in a fraction of the time with the talon connectors, then got to shoot the show from at least 150 feet away with the family and had 100% fire rate. This is a little box with big functionality. If you like fireworks, then invest in an ignite system. Not to mention that FireworksFX will sell you complete shows that you can just enter a number in the app and the entire pre-programmed show will load and shoot automatically for you. It's time you become the hero at your next family event. ### 5/5 — Amazing Customer Service *2021-08-12* I needed help on a recent shoot troubleshooting a problem I created. The customer service was amazing and they help the show go off without a hitch! ### 5/5 — 4th of July 2021 *2021-07-09, version 8.9.1* I fired a 22-minute show using three modules and 50-cues. The software is fantastic especially if your using a brand of fireworks that is preloaded into the software. I shot 10-35 shot mortar racks and 1-50 shot rack for a total of 400 Excalibur platinum shells plus 50 -500 gram cakes. The show went off without a hitch and worked flawlessly. I love it🇺🇸💥🇺🇸💥 one thing did catch me by surprise and that was the 20-second delay after pressing the start show button, so that threw my separate sound track off a little bit. Next time I will be using the built in music system ### 5/5 — Amazing System, Easy to use *2021-07-06* This year we decided to use a firing system for my show and man I can’t tell you the amount of time I’ve saved not having to zip tie cake after cake. Not one misfire, and timing was perfect. Best part is the OWNER of the company gives you his personal cellphone to contact him and he actually responds within minutes. Can’t say enough if your launching one rocket to hundreds of fireworks this system works amazingly. ### 5/5 — Amazing, Next level product and App! *2021-07-05* The ignite system is absolutely amazing and this app that controls the module is just as good. I was blown away at how easy it was to use and how great of a product it is. This is the absolute BEST and EASIEST way to set off a firework show from a distance and in professional sequence. This system is packed with all the features one would need to design, script, and fire their own fireworks show. Trying to get rich off other people’s work and ideas. ### 2/5 — Good until their system goes down. *2025-07-05* July 4th 2025 at 8:20 pm their system went down and wouldn’t fire the show or the $5000 worth of fireworks in the show. Ended up having someone else play music while I free shot the show. Two stars even though it worked in the past. If you can’t have a fireworks app working properly on Independence Day then I don’t know when you could trust it. Extremely disappointing. Will be moving on to other more reliable options. ### 3/5 — Great for what it is, could be improved *2024-07-07* In show prep you’re unable to look at any notes you entered for each item. Also no way to make any on the go fine tuning tweaks to shows as you’re just told to use the web editor on the main show designer. Also there’s no text adjustment when it goes over a certain character limit in the show designer so if you attempt to leave notes or brief info on full fusing from ematch you can’t see the first line, etc. Overall it’s great but there’s certainly a lot of room for improvement. ### 4/5 — Very good but has its issues *2024-07-03* The app itself is very thorough and easy to navigate however, so far I have noticed when I try to add a video for a firework in the my fireworks section of the app it seems to have difficulty adding the video to the description of the firework. It picks and chooses when it adds the video and when it doesn’t. Besides this I have no issues with the app it appears to be very responsive to the module when launching. Currently, you can copy and paste a YouTube URL into the video field, and we will associate it with the firework. I am wondering if certain URLs are not being properly parsed. If you can email us even a single example, we can fix this issue in the app and prevent it from happening to you or others. We have not received any reports of this issue so far. Thanks again for helping us improve the app! ### 5/5 — Awesome USA250! *2026-07-06* I was looking to upgrade from stringing fuses together to a more synchronous show and run it from two sides of our pond… and on the pond! For USA 250. This system didn’t disappoint!!! I had one minor issue yesterday and called for support. They answered my call in 2 minutes and quickly solved the issue. The best part, the range was much further than expected and I got to sit with my family and enjoy the show for the first time in over 10 years!!!! It was amazing to watch a show I designed!!! For the last 2 years me and my brother have wanted to purchase the ignite system but we were always hesitant or it was at the end of the fireworks spending spree and just couldn’t muster up the cash or courage to spend that $200 but this year we did and it did not disappoint and worked flawlessly. I seen you had the newer version but was a little out of our price range as we are just 2 young adults who a lot of people look forward to our fireworks show every year. Job well done and we cannot wait until next year to use this fully and buy another breaker board and a cover for it so it does not get damaged. I just figured you would want to hear that everyday people are enjoying your product and the setup and everything is as easy as can be!! I have been completely blown away by the ease of use, the effectiveness, and the peace of mind it brought to the cannon shots! And, most importantly, the IGNITE equipment brought a much-needed and appreciated element of safety to the shooting grounds. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best starter module *2023-10-20* The app is designed very well and is very user-friendly. Super easy to use. The show designer takes about 10-20 minutes to get fully familiar with and makes designing shows so easy. Had a 7 minute show on one i18 and not a single misfire, the only exception being a cake that was a dud (not the modules fault). Highly recommended for anyone trying to advance their backyard shows and those who want to get more professional with them. Being able to use mjg igniters (5-10 per cue) is awesome too. Cant wait for the mjg mode to be released (changes pulse time from 2 seconds to about .1). My only complaint is that the i32 came out but when I go to prep a show using 3 i32 modules, only 18 cues appear for each module. This could just be due to the fact that I don’t have an i32 connected to the app though. Looking forward to what Cobra does with Ignite in the future. ### 5/5 — Great consumer grade product! *2023-08-02* I settled on 6-I18 modules earlier this year after researching many different firing systems including Cobra, Mongoose,Muuxbrd and more. I found the cost and ease of use both of modules and Show designer great for a beginner. Now after my first 20+ minute show with 104 cues used I’m the family/neighborhood hero! Thanks Ignite! ### 5/5 — The best intro system *2023-07-04* For those that aren’t aware, Ignite is Cobra’s ‘consumer’ or ‘intro’ system. Affordable and easy. Just be aware that if you want instant fire, you also need MJG initiators (about $1 a piece). Otherwise you need talon clip-on igniters, which are similarly priced, and basically clip on to the end of the firework fuse. Either way, the system is fantastic and expandable. You can link up to 6 modules (108 cues) and they also make breakout boards (5 connections per cue) for more expandability. ### 5/5 — This product is perfect mid-tier *2023-07-04* There is nothing to complain about. You get a top performing system and free software for design and execution. I only wish it had more than 6 modules but for backyard enthusiasts it’s a major game changer. My only advice is start saving for the Cobra.
