### 4/5 — Useful but please update it

*2017-07-04*

Hi, this is useful for me as an NVC practitioner--having the list of needs available when I am stuck. However Apple says this needs to be updated or it won't work with future versions of iOS. Do you plan to update it soon? Thank you!

### 3/5 — Question for developer

*2010-10-03*

Where are the victim and should lists mentioned in the info section?

I read the reviews and purchased in spite of them, figuring that $2 is not much, and it's handy to have F/N lists on my phone. I like the two lists as configured. I wish for more info and functionality, and hope for updates soon. I appreciate your efforts.

### 2/5 — Are you feeling disappointed? Are you needing more content?

*2010-04-09*

yes, and yes...
this application is a well-intention first try.
It does little more than list the feelings and needs, and even that it does not do very well. Hard to scroll through the lists.
How about separate screens for feelings and needs?
How about setting it up so that the user can select from the lists, and highlight the applicable words?
Something to give it more spaciousness, so it's easier to read?
And something to make it a more interactive application, so it'll be used by a broader audience, not just nvc-geeks?

### 3/5 — Adorable app that should be free

*2010-02-02*

It's nice and I will probably reference it so the money is not a total waste. But the app doesn't do anything other than show two images.

### 5/5 — I LOVE iGrok!

*2010-01-29*

FINALLY! I've been waiting for an NVC app to replace the ratty feelings/needs list I've been carrying around in my purse. This one is exceptionally well done with lots of examples and NVC support. Now I can have those difficult telephone conversations with ease knowing I have empathy in my pocket. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

### 1/5 — Simple app

*2020-04-14*

This app hasn't been updated in years. It's just a list of feelings and needs. Nothing more. It costing money makes it inaccessible to those who can't afford it. Make it free.

### 1/5 — Update!

*2018-01-10*

I don’t but many apps and it bothers me that it hasn’t been updated. I use this with loved ones and the students in my classroom.

### 1/5 — Was helpful, not now

*2018-01-10*

Please update for new IOS.
Come on man!

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-11-25*

The app doesn't work with the current IOS.

I paid for something worthless, left a voicemail on the contact number from their website and they never called back.

Not sure what to do or how to get my money back.

### 1/5 — Igrok

*2011-05-23*

I would like this to be iPad size and able to see all the categories at one time.

### 1/5 — No interactiveness

*2010-07-02, version 0*

Bummed...looking for more

### 1/5 — Wow!

*2010-04-23, version 0*

This awesome app is so cool. And by cool I mean not cool. And by awesome I mean completely useless.

### 1/5 — Mr. Hyde

*2010-02-04*

I am disappointed with the level functionality received with the iGROK. It provides nothing that's not already available for free from other sources. It's not worth the $1.99 that I paid for it. Free apps that I've downloaded provide more bells and whistles than the iGROK.

### 2/5 — It is now useless. Please update.

*2017-10-23*

The latest IOS doesn’t support the app anymore.

### 2/5 — Not with the money.

*2015-09-25*

This is literally just a document and nothing else. There is no difference between this and a pdf. Peace Process is free and an amazing NVC tool that has functions.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple, invaluable tool

*2024-05-26*

So helpful for deepening your emotional vocabulary

### 5/5 — SO HELPFUL TALKING TO MY MOM!!

*2024-03-27*

Whenever my mom and I are on the phone, I pull up iGROK. She lives alone now that my father is gone and I think she's pretty lonely without him. She seems to melt when I take my time to connect with her, using reflective listening and guessing what she is feeling and what needs she might have. The interesting thing is once she connects to her needs, she can often find solutions and strategies to meet those needs. I'm so happy to have found this app. It's helped me become a better daughter and more effective listener.

### 5/5 — So helpful!

*2022-01-18, version 1.3*

I love the simple elegance of this app. I am others-oriented (an Enneagram 2) and need support identifying my emotions/needs. This app has been so helpful.

### 5/5 — Yes, Please Update

*2017-11-25*

This has been such a helpful app love sharing with beginners. Even experienced NVCers like these particular lists.

### 5/5 — Please Update!

*2017-10-27*

As someone whose practiced nonviolent communication for many years, I love having the feelings and needs right on my phone. I’ve suggested this app to many who are beginning their practice. Please update it so we can use it again! Thanks!!

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2017-08-16, version 1.2*

Well thought out and nicely put together app that helps me quickly reference to NVC - Non-Violent Communcation basics. Brings ease, efficiency and relief. Grateful to all who created, contributed and offered.

### 5/5 — Observation; Feeling; Need; Request

*2010-04-16*

I have come to expect a particular level of functionality whenever I spend $1.99 (plus tax) at the App Store. Sadly, this expectation remained unfulfilled for me in the present case! Compared with most products available at the App Store, the product under review did not deliver the level of functionality that its price tag seemed to suggest or implicitly promise. When an item I have purchased in good faith, particularly one that I cannot return for a full refund, fails to meet my (reasonably fair) expectation for performance and functionality, I feel sad, unsatisfied, disappointed, and even a little frustrated. This is because my needs for fairness and consistency are not being met. In light of this, I am wondering whether the creators of this (potentially powerful) program would consider expanding its range of performance and increasing its level of functionality through FREE updates. I do hope that they would! To show my confidence that this would indeed be the case, I am giving it five stars. My rating refers not to what this app does, which isn't much, but to what it may be able to do in the future!

### 5/5 — I am so enjoying Igrok

*2010-02-14, version 0*

It is so helpful to have lists of feelings and needs so handy when in emotional situations! I like page 2 under the I icon to help me focus my ?'s wisely.Thank you to the NVC communities for allyou do for peace!

### 5/5 — This app is awesome.

*2010-02-12*

It is an easy to use tool that contributes to life and peace on the planet! Well done! I love the indepth information amd examples on empathy conversations in the app. Just push the I at the bottom right corner to get to it.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2010-01-29*

It is with great pleasure that I recommend iGrok. The game is fun and useful. The creator, Christine King, is an NVC legend. I would not hesitate to hire her as an NVC coach. She is the real deal in the NVC industry.
