## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-07-10

This update improves active workout logging, Apple Watch companion mode, and Recovery scoring:

• Upgraded the Apple Watch workout experience. After starting a workout on iPhone, Watch now shows the current exercise, workout progress, the next suggested set, and a one-tap action to complete that set.
• Made workout suggestions more practical, with small load increases after reaching a goal and more conservative guidance when recent performance drops.
• Improved training plan editing with searchable training items, clearer selected-exercise sections, and the ability to add a missing exercise while editing a training item.
• Expanded exercise library details for equipment, primary/secondary muscles, mechanics, force direction, level, and searchable attributes.
• Refined Recovery scoring with more conservative weighting for sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, and training load, plus multi-signal guards to reduce single-source misreads.
• Polished in-workout plan refresh, rest interval display, Live Activity updates, exercise analysis details, localization, and naming across the app.

Your data still stays on your device by default. Watch companion mode is used only after you start a workout from iPhone.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-03

This update improves workout logging, exercise analysis, and data safety:

• Added an Exercises page with goals, PRs, equipment/gym contexts, and next-workout suggestions.
• Upgraded Analysis into Overview, Exercises, Muscles, and History sections for volume, E1RM, PR, and muscle-load tracking.
• Project goals can now be tailored by gym and equipment, so quick logging and workout screens can suggest more relevant next targets.
• Added optional WebDAV backup and restore for uploading an on-device Documents snapshot to your own NAS / WebDAV directory.
• Refined project management, record editing, protected default dictionaries, localization, and Apple Watch sync details.

Your data still stays on your device by default. WebDAV backup is used only after you configure and enable it.

### 1.4 — 2026-06-04

BUG FIX

### 1.3 — 2026-05-27

This release upgrades the entire workout-prep experience:

  • New Apple Watch complications for daily Recovery — circular, corner, and rectangular (Smart Stack) — see your readiness at a glance before training.

  • Automatic background updates: wear your Watch overnight, take it off in the morning, and iFit silently computes your daily recovery score and pushes it to the watch face. No need to open the
  app.

  • Recovery algorithm overhaul: 28-day baseline window, on-device morning RHR computation, z-score evaluation, and RHR/HRV dual-metric voting — no more "always reading high" false alarms.

  • Recovery history & trend page: 30-day score line chart, RHR/HRV vs personal baseline, expandable per-day diagnostics, and subjective effort logging.

  • Redesigned Watch quick-record screen for serious lifters: per-set reps and weight (10/9/8/7 reps × 100/100/95/90 kg), supporting drop sets, pyramid sets, and failure sets — the real shapes of
strength training. Adjust with Digital Crown or ± buttons.

  • Fix: "Repeat Training" on the Watch now preserves the full per-set breakdown.

  — Your data stays on your device.

### 1.2 — 2026-03-06

This update adds support for assessing the user’s “daily body status” using health data collected by Apple Watch and synced to Apple Health. The Health data is used only within this app for analysis and in-app display, and is not shared with any third parties. It is not used for advertising or marketing. The app reads Health data only after the user explicitly grants permission, and access can be revoked at any time in the iPhone Health app or in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
