Looking for a local ride-hailing app? Try ihail! It’s the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan Area’s smartest ride-hailing app that provides fast and reliable rides at the click of a button. Whether you’re going to/from MSP Airport or across the Twin Cities, ihail is here for you day and night. All pricing is calculated upfront so the price you receive is the price you pay. Register your credit card and securely pay through your phone, pay with your account or transit number, or pay in the vehicle with cash or credit card. Optionally select a vehicle type including Sedan, Minivan (up to 6 passengers), and Wheelchair Accessible. Book your ride for now or later. If needed, select your return ride date and time. Not sure when you will be ready, then make your return ride a Will Call booking which allows you to activate the ride anytime on the date selected. Optionally select a vehicle approaching notification of Text, Call, Email or all of the above. Track your vehicle in the app including real-time distance and ETA’s. Go to My Bookings to see all current and future rides. Save bookings as favorites to be used within the app. You will get a receipt by email at the conclusion of your trip. Fix the problem I can’t see my rides if I schedule them on the following days. How I can tell if my ride was booked or what time it’s comes when I cannot see the ride status. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-03-23* Doesn’t work at all. Is won’t even let me type in my account. ### 1/5 — Do not waste your money or time. *2024-02-17* Horrible customer service. The driver’s are rude. They drive drunk, I’ve had multiple drivers falling asleep while driving. I’ve even had video evidence sent to the company and the drivers are still driving. The car’s are filthy, the drivers talk on the phone the entire ride, it’s just completely unprofessional. ### 1/5 — Can't even get account created successfully and no help via phone. *2023-11-28* I really want to use this app, but can't even get an account created. As part of the process, it wants to text me a verification code. This is pretty normal when creating accounts, but I never got the code. I tried again a day later and still no code. Eventually, it told me that I had made too many attempts and I needed to call in. I did that and for some reason, was transferred to the Driver Services line, which was as confusing to them as it was me. I called back and this time was transferred to the Dispatch team ... same result as before. On the third call, I was advised to send an email to customer Care, a week later and still no response from them. This is extremely disappointing and admittedly, my experience thus far coupled with the overwhelmingly negative reviews on here have me wondering if this is really worth doing. ### 1/5 — Left a disabled woman stranded downtown at midnight *2023-05-18* Booked, charged credit card, and got a confirmation number. Only to be canceled on an hour before pick up. They did this TWICE. shameful to leave a disabled woman stranded downtown at midnight. Use Uber. ### 1/5 — MIGHT WORK IF YOU SCHEDULE A RIDE IN ADVANCE *2023-04-11* Might work better if you schedule your ride in advance, but I wouldn’t know. Waited an hour and they still couldn’t locate a driver with all the different cab services they’re supposedly sourcing from. It’s probably better to just call a taxi service directly and work with them. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECCOMEND ### 5/5 — Worked well *2023-04-10* We usually take Lyft but the price at 8am on a Monday to MSP was very high. $20 more than a cab. Car and van is the same price so I got the roomier option. This is the 1st time I’ve booked with iHail. (Transportation +) I live in the West Metro and the van arrived 20 mins before the scheduled time. Driver was courteous and helped with bags. There’s no option to tip on the app so we just gave cash. Note: this is a small company (compared to Lyft and Uber) so their app is simple. No tracking feature but that’s ok. I’ll book with them again when we get back from our trip ### 1/5 — absolutely do not get *2022-12-30* this app is so horrible i couldn’t get an account created and after i did it said the login details were wrong, i then ordered a round trip on there website and it took and extra 10 minutes for it to show up, and it never even showed up in the way back, i waited outside for 40 minutes before calling a lyft, overall bad app would not recommend using the website either, if you have it, delete it or don’t use it. ### 1/5 — Horrible to use *2022-08-18* This app is awful. Especially if you are trying to prebook a taxi for a location that is different to where you are standing with your device. ### 1/5 — Accessibility of application *2022-07-09* I have used this app only two times.
