Backed by years of research and testing, the free, private and secure iHEAL app helps Canadian women who have experienced abuse from a current or past partner find information to help them be safe and well. iHEAL: - Is protected with a secure, private username and password known only to users of the app - Contains assessments, activities, topics, and links to resources and services in all provinces/territories to help women improve their safety, health, and well-being - Offers six areas to explore: Safety, Basic Needs, Health and Well-Being, Connecting Safely, Claiming Your Power, and Family. Begin anywhere and explore what interests you. - Allows users to 'Save' activities, topics, and resources to make them easier to find. Safe Use: - Use of iHEAL is completely anonymous. Your login is password protected to keep your information safe. - When logged in, use the 'Exit' button to quickly replace the app with a neutral webpage that will open in your device's default browser. - Enter '1234' in the password field on the login screen to quickly navigate away from the app. This functions the same way as the "Exit" button. - Be aware that your abusive partner may monitor your use of this app using spyware, cloud access or by accessing your phone, tablet or computer. - When using the app, please use a safe device that you alone can access and that is password protected.
