### 3/5 — App functionality

*2023-09-03, version 3.14.0*

I prefer this version of the app over the newer one. It allows for entering meals for calorie intake. I have but one concern.

I have a contactless thermometer by iHealth. It does not have Bluetooth capability. It would be nice if I could manually enter my temperature. Hope this can get fixed to allow manual entry of all vital signs.

### 2/5 — Partner services

*2023-08-03, version 3.13.1*

They used to be able to sync to my Apple health on Apple phones and also connect with my doctors app but now when going to the partner services it’s not working anymore. Also the blood pressure keeps failing in the app even after removing and re-adding

### 3/5 — Works well BUT!

*2023-03-07, version 3.13.1*

Works well in conjunction with other apps. BUT
IT NEEDS TO INCORPORATE THE APPLE WATCH.

### 2/5 — Underwhelmed from the start

*2022-11-22*

My midwife suggested I get this app to be able to submit weight and blood pressure readings for at home monitoring during pregnancy. It would be nice if there was a way I could put in my profile that I’m pregnant so the app wouldn’t tell me I’m supposedly obese when I check my weight to send to my provider. That’s triggering for so many people and I really don’t need to hear that in the middle of pregnancy. If anything I’m closer to behind on gaining weight so how is that helpful? It’s not. My initial thought is that I wouldn’t use this app if it wasn’t for at home monitoring to be used by my obgyn.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-11-19, version 3.13.1*

Website Error (500) spent my time updating my name and password because I wasn’t sure. Waste of time. Useless

### 1/5 — Bad

*2022-11-14, version 3.13.0*

The application will not allow me to create an account.

### 1/5 — ip16 breaks HS5 scales

*2022-11-07, version 3.13.0*

Connects to setup, but now won’t connect to scales to take readings. Everything reset and reinstalled, wlan checked, defo the app. This happened with the last major iOS update; took them a few months to fix. Don’t know if I can be bothered to wait this time. Will shop around for another smart scale.

### 1/5 — No memory

*2022-11-05, version 3.13.0*

Neither the app nor the device remembers the data. Super frustrating. It also isn’t exporting to iHealth …

### 1/5 — Not for UK Users

*2022-11-04, version 3.13.0*

Downloaded this as its links me with Noom However none of the items it links too Ad far as I can see are available /in general use in the UK. So not for me Sorry 😞

### 1/5 — Broken since IOS 16

*2022-11-02, version 3.13.0*

Stopped syncing with Apple Health app Oct 1st.
Stopped working with HS5 scale at the same time.

### 2/5 — App needs improvement

*2022-10-25, version 3.13.0*

Bought the oximeter and blood pressure reader. The “add device” process is not informative on the steps to sync. Never could get blood pressure reader to sync on Bluetooth. So the extra money spent for connectivity was wasted. Can’t recommend anyone buying their products until they get their app enhanced.

### 1/5 — My bp cuff won’t connect

*2022-10-22, version 3.13.0*

After recent updates my bp cuff will no longer connect. Please fix

### 1/5 — Can’t connect to iPhone after iOS update.

*2022-10-13, version 3.13.0*

Too bad…was liking this device.

### 1/5 — NOT APPLE

*2022-10-12, version 3.13.0*

i Health not for i Phone.
Poor app to connect to select hardware.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Connect to iPhone

*2022-10-10, version 3.13.0*

You would think an app called iHealth would connect to an iPhone.
Messed with it for an hour. Never connected.

### 1/5 — Apple

*2022-10-08, version 3.13.0*

I health would suggest it is affiliated with Apple.
This is not the case.

### 1/5 — Useless app-will not connect to HS-5 scale

*2022-09-22, version 3.13.0*

APP used to work and connect with my scale. Now I can’t connect at all to my scale. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Dissatisfied

Just doesn’t work. You cannot create an account.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Connectivity

*2025-05-07, version 3.14.0*

I have tried many times to resolve this issue. The scale is not connecting to the app. I have reset my Wi-Fi multiple times, and I’ve also turned my phone and Bluetooth on and off. Unfortunately, the scale still isn’t working, and it is definitely not worth the hype or the money. I am very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Ошибка 1016.

*2024-12-28, version 3.14.0*

BP3L не подключается.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2024-10-29, version 3.14.0*

Won’t Sync with iHealth BP monitor?! Worked about 3 times, then refused to Sync anylonger. Not automatic. Got worse with IOS 18.x

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2024-10-21, version 3.14.0*

Doesn’t work anymore

### 1/5 — Worst COVID tests ever

*2024-01-09*

Got free tests from the government (I know you get what you pay for… but I’ve been getting free covid tests from the government since the pandemic and I’ve always gotten quality product or at least something that makes sense.) Sorry, but I refuse to download an app and create an account JUST SO I CAN WATCH AN INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO because iHealth has to have two different kinds of covid tests but use same packaging for both, to make things as confusing as possible for potential users who have a fever and a blinding headache. I’m not creating an account and giving you access to all my information just to watch a freaking video because you can’t create a product that makes sense.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support Apple Watch

*2023-07-02, version 3.13.1*

After I have finished creating the account I found out that it doesn’t support Apple Watches. Deleted

### 1/5 — This app has nothing to do with Covid

*2023-04-09, version 3.13.1*

Why did my Covid test sent me this app to download? Not only am I sick but you people just wasted 15 minutes of my life

### 1/5 — This Taught Me To Never Purchase an iHealth Device

*2023-03-04, version 3.13.1*

It won’t allow me to set up my scale no matter now much I try, and their new app does not support my scale! Horrible. The scale works and I cannot get access to all of its features.

### 1/5 — Country of residence

*2023-03-01, version 3.13.1*

The app is asking me to change my country of residence but does not offer Europe countries as an option. I deleted it.

### 1/5 — Apple Watch

*2022-12-20, version 3.13.1*

When did they stop supporting the Apple Watch? That was the only reason I downloaded this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 77 years old eyes couldn’t read instructions enclosed.

*2023-02-20, version 3.13.1*

I have eye problems and I can’t read labels and instructions. I was glad to download the instructions. It went much smoother. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Working well

*2021-12-23, version 3.11.16*

I love the app. It works well. I would like to see BP added by age. I don’t want to freak out every time it says prehypertension when my BP is fine for my age. Thank you

### 5/5 — Works great with Apple Health

*2021-12-17, version 3.11.16*

App easily imports data into Apple Health data base which is the main reason I purchased their oximeter. Also good app privacy statement.

### 5/5 — Great app - works well with my scale

*2021-07-21, version 3.11.10*

This app is solid and reliable, is able to retrieve the weight/body fat % from my scale every time.

Graphs are well done, ability to switch to list view allows me to see and delete invalid data points.

### 5/5 — Love this monitor!

*2021-06-22, version 3.11.10*

I have been using this system for 4 years to monitor my blood pressure. It has worked perfectly each time and has been a great tool to help me regaining my health

### 5/5 — I like BP5 41F911

*2021-04-16, version 3.11.9*

I use it for many years and I’m totally satisfied.

### 5/5 — Does what it says on the tin

*2020-08-26, version 3.11.6*

I’ve been using the blood pressure monitor and scale every day for the last 5 years. Never had a problem.

The marketing blurb about the app is a waste of space. All it should say is “this is the controller app for iHealth devices including our BP pressure monitor, scales and a few more”. If you haven’t already bought one of their devices, there is no reason to look at this app.

### 5/5 — app unable to connect pulse oximeter

*2020-06-02*

my oximeter from ihealth arrived today, paid $80 (including tax and shipping) for something i can get for $10, i was confused as i thought it will connect like all other bluetooth devices, but it didnt, you have to open the "connect devices" menu and add the device from there, once connected it works nicely, i have become a fan of bluetooth LE, ihealth if you are listening all your devices should use bluetooth LE its awesome.

### 5/5 — It works fine

*2020-05-25, version 3.11.3*

I have used the iHealth app for a year and a half for blood pressure readings . It does what it’s supposed to. I can’t fault it

### 5/5 — gd app

*2019-09-07, version 3.10.1*

rlly gd app
