I know this isn’t with my network or phone because I’ve tried other devices and the same thing has happened, please fix this. **Developer response:** The Bluetooth disconnects when Alexa is activated. This is normal. It’s a well rounded device with a robust voice service. However, like many people who have also left reviews and comments, we want to see Apple Music as a native option. Amazon Alexa already has the Apple Music skill, so it would just make sense to allow us to use our Apple Music library. The only thing missing is the ability to turn off the updates. Ever since my speaker received the update, it stutters all my music when it’s just connected to my net. Every time I stop a song, to tend to something else, I I have to reconnect back to Bluetooth. ^^^ That’s annoying!! -_- Why isn’t all of my “local” music available in the “local” area in the iHomeAVS app? There are only about 12 songs that are listed, and the songs were originally from Apple Music, but I have hundreds of songs in my Apple Music. So why some songs, but not others? ^^^ This is another issue I have! ### 3/5 — Liking it so far *2017-12-26* I just got my iHome AVS and I’m digging it. I’m about to be getting a bunch of smart home stuff to control my room with (I’ll update when I’ve used those and say if they are good). The colors are nice and the dimming of the screen and colors is nice, I just wish that the color strip on the bottom and the screen dimmed together by the same button on the top of the device. I’ve run into two annoying bugs so far and they are really effecting how I like to use the clock. 1) none of my music plays through the local function in the iHome app. I have to use bluetooth to use my phones music. When I go to play a song through the built in app, it just keeps skipping through the songs not playing a single one of them, then it says it can’t play my song. I know that’s not huge but it’s annoying having to connect to Bluetooth every time I want to play music. 2) and this one is really throwing me for a loop. Alexa’s voice and the sound for the alarm clock have to be set under the same volume. I’m a heavy sleeper so I need the alarm clock set 20+ but I, in no way need Alexa yelling through my whole house at those volumes. I need Alexa and the alarms to be able to have separate volume controls. So when I ask Alexa a question I don’t have to stand away from her as to not blow my ear drums out. I also don’t want to have to continually change the volume up before I go to bed and then down after I wake up.
