You can find all of the buttons that you need on the actual speaker. There’s nothing special about the app, and I suggest you not get it, unless your lazy ### 1/5 — App no good *2023-12-13, version 3.0.0* It just says looking for device ### 1/5 — Can't even log in *2023-12-10, version 3.0.0* So i tried to create an account, it said something along the lines of, we can't connect to iHome, if this problem persists, contact support (they didn't give a gmail for the support team) and this all happened about a couple weeks ago, so I tried it today, and guess what? The software (app) takes you in a endless loop to to check for devices, which it never does. Even after you connected it via Bluetooth. Judging by developer comments on these reviews. They require to reset your network connections , erasing your Wi if, why would I ever do that? Hardware wise, it doesn’t connect to your device via Bluetooth half the time. This is the first iHome product I ever owned and it will be my last. Luckily I got this as a gift from my job. if you bought this. I hope you have the receipt , because return it and spend a little extra cash for something is worth your time. ### 1/5 — Useless, except to change the time/alarms easier *2023-05-21, version 3.0.0* I’ve been using this app for about 3 years thinking at some point it would be updated. I own the iBTW39 docking station/clock that has a “smart button”. Using the app, you are supposed to have the option to hook it up to Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, “Local Music” (which only allows you to select either a single song, artist or album to play, not to shuffle your playlist), to turn your music off or do nothing at all. After all this time, you would think that it would be able to attach to Apple Music to play my list. So these buttons and app are pretty irrelevant because I simply have to connect my phone with Bluetooth and start my list from their. Once my music is playing, I can use the “next” button on my clock to skip a song. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-05-03, version 3.0.0* Stuck on “looking for devices screen”. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I paid extra for an item with the app functionality… completely waste of money. And it still says looking for device for an hour straight. Like what??? The buttons on the clock are really hard to press so I use the app to set the alarm. Every single time I get on the dang app it says “finding devices” or the alarm page will continue loading. It is so annoying and frustrating. The amount of times I’ve actually gotten the app to work are low. This is a great example of a terrible company. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love the app but it needs a update *2025-01-05, version 3.0.0* First of all I scored a pretty big find I have always wanted to give the Ihome enhanced app a try and I found an ihome IBT297 at a resale shop for a fair price. What’s keeping me from using it is 2 things one this app needs an update to fix several issues one in which it won’t let me create an account to fully register my Ihome IBT297 and I also feel it needs more of a compatibility update for those who are running iOS 18. The other issue I don’t fully trust the whole alarm set feature on the app because it seems to glitch and turn itself on when I turn it off then it switches back to off which I find rather weird. I have been a die hard ihome fan for years in fact I have only ever owned an ihome alarm clock because I feel more secure with their set up VS TIMEX and other brands. Ihome has just always been my preferred and go to alarm clock. I just would hate to see this app ever become incompatible with iOS if iOS 19 or 20 comes out that would hurt me quite a bit. Overall I love this app and I hope it proves fruitful for years of use and learning how to use it. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about but you have my 5 stars ### 5/5 — Compatibility *2024-05-12, version 3.0.0* Is the ibt 29 compatible ### 5/5 — Works like a charm! *2022-08-08, version 3.0.0* It was so easy I didn’t even need the manual. I downloaded the app, opened it, and it INSTANTLY paired despite having deleted it before. Next it instantly showed up options. I look at my clock... BAM! 😲 The right time is being displayed. I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews. 🤷🏽‍♀️ ### 5/5 — One suggestion *2020-04-26* I love the app because it keeps me from loosing my mind with all of the buttons for the alarms. One thing that I would suggest to make the app so much better is setting like a color timer. Like, you can set what time you want for example, sky gradient and another for lamp. Because during the day I like my clock on fade, but in the dark, it kind of freaks me out so I always turn it on to lamp and it gets kind of annoying to go into the app twice a day just for that.
