### 3/5 — Overall decent

*2026-08-04*

Solid app but not a fan of having to re-purchase zones if there was any small update to the area

### 4/5 — One thing

*2026-07-18*

It would be a five star if it had fishing regulations and you could see what fish are in what lakes and rivers but if your just using it for hunting it’s a five star

### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-06-30*

I wish there was an off-road version

### 3/5 — Zoom in

*2026-06-26*

I often have to zoom out to see boundaries or other specific data. When I zoom in that data often fails to be seen

### 4/5 — Old guys and tec gear

*2026-06-18*

I’d give it a 5/5 if the road names/numbers were easy to read.

### 4/5 — Love the info

*2026-06-16*

Love the info but not the most intuitive to use. Perhaps I’m just an old guy and slow learner.

### 5/5 — My home place in Manitoba.

*2026-06-13*

Enjoying the map. Wish I could print off a complete RM.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-03-14*

Easy app to use but I forget how to after 9 months of not using it lol

### 5/5 — Does not disappoint!!

*2026-01-04*

This is one of the best and most used apps I have on my phone! It is well worth the money for the year! Especially when looking for crown land and public hunt areas. There is nothing I would personally change 10/10

### 5/5 — For every outdoorsman

*2025-12-10*

Great app I’m impressed,it’s exactly what I needed and very affordable I recommend it.

### 5/5 — Land location

*2025-12-08*

Great app. I use it all the time while I’m hunting or thinking of hunting. It’s a must have if you’re on the fence get it

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2026-08-07*

Use to be really good, but having a lot of issues with the app as of late

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-08-02*

Not good for what you have to pay

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2026-07-06*

Used to be good, had the info you needed, paid my original subscription fee now they want to charge a big fee yearly. Not worth it anymore

### 1/5 — Serious flaw

*2026-02-08*

I very much enjoyed this app until recently. It showed I was in the middle of a wide open area for deer hunting, to later find out it was absolutely closed. I pointed this out to the Conservation Officers tgat I had to deal with. ihunter was very wrong about the hunting boundaries regarding the CWD hunt in the Kootenay region. Clearly I wasn’t the only one getting bad information from this app as ihunter wiped it clean from the app when there was still days left in the hunt. My rating went from very high, to the lowest I could manage. To everyone using this app, make sure to cross reference all information. ihunter makes mistakes. This is the first mistake I have noticed, but it is a very serious mistake. I am hoping the province creates its own app to keep things legit. I will continue to use this app, but I will never trust it again.

### 1/5 — Review

*2025-12-26*

Very difficult to use tried asking for support they give very basic answers that didn’t result in any assistance my advice is buy a gps that doesn’t need wifi to work

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2025-10-26, version 5.0.43*

I find it’s good for private land. But then you go off to crown land and low internet areas and it’s almost useless.
No real instructions on if you need to download maps prior to hunts or any information.

### 1/5 — Regs covered by pop-up

*2025-10-20, version 5.0.43*

I would like to give this app a high rating as it looks like it would work well if the regs and what game is open in each WMU was not hidden. It’s blocked by a “Game seasons in your pocket” pop-up that blocks the view of all the legal animals for the WMU. Not sure if this is a my device issue but it seems like a “you have to pay to play” type issue. Looks like I will be sticking with PDF and paper copies of the regs for the local areas. Overall pretty disappointing for what appears to be a very well made app for your average Canadian hunter.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2025-10-15, version 5.0.42*

Used to work really well. Now takes ages to load, zoom in close, or even when I’m labeling way points. Very glitchy and will exit me out of the app

### 1/5 — Not User-friendly

*2025-09-18, version 5.0.38*

This app is a complete waste of time and money. You have to buy every county map. I’m better off just buying the county map and taking it with me. The office is hard to navigate when you got the land owner‘s name, SUP you can’t see the roads. If you change the settings, so you can see the roads you can’t see the landowner. The screen is way too busy. And then once you buy the landowner’s map, you can’t see the emu

### 1/5 — Updated at the wrong time

*2025-09-14, version 5.0.36*

I was using this app to try and track my animals blood that I shot and while I was putting in the way points it stopped working and tried to update very frustrating especially when you’re in the dark in thick bush and it won’t work until you get to WIFI

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Variable usage

*2026-08-20*

I use it whenever I’m in the woods. From helicopter work s of wood buffalo to s Alberta. Helped to Save men’s lives once by helping us find the only lease to land a helicopter on in dense fog.

### 5/5 — Great help

*2026-08-09*

I do find certain features of another popular app more useful, but nothing compares to the local knowledge, unit info in an easy format & LEH info like iHunter. I switch between the two apps a number of times in a trip. The good thing is, iHunter just gets better & better

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-07-31*

Use this app all the time. It is so useful. Highly recommended

### 5/5 — Best app!!

*2026-07-29*

I always recommend this app as I’ve use it f years.
Thank you for a great app😎🦅

### 5/5 — Awesome app & support

*2026-07-28*

This app is a wonderful resource! Worth every penny when overlaying county maps and GRL contacts. Questions I had were answered very fast as well.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-07-25*

Works awesome, lots of great features that will help you find success on you next adventure or hunt.

### 5/5 — Happy happy

*2026-07-21*

Best app on the fricking planet

### 5/5 — Very useful.

*2026-07-19*

Very useful maps. Should offer a renewal discount or lifetime subscription option where it updates maps automatically

### 5/5 — TD Amisk

*2026-07-15*

We use it at the TD Amisk camp recommended by Nick on our first trip and ever since then it's our go to now I'm using it for my Cabin at Cumberland house and it is by far the best way to get around with no cell phone service it is a definite go to

### 5/5 — Opinion

*2026-06-17*

I really love this app. It’s easy to navigate and easy to drop pins. You can also email them and get feedback back which is great! Keep up the good work.
