Super easy app to set up and use; not only tracks the miles you’ve traveled, the trees you’ve saved, and resulting decreases in CO2 emissions, but also it PAYS YOU! This app is user friendly and technical support was there for me that one time, and is interested in your comments. If you’re like me - we have to drive to work. But for the future of my three kids, I’m ready to share rides. I love the idea I can drive any one of my three cars and get zero emission credit when I share the drive using Hytch. It’s free! Everyone do this!!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — So many bug issues *2020-03-02, version 2.8.8* I was able to successfully use the app only once until it had a bunch of bug issues. I wasn’t able to open the app after that. It would crash every time. I tried deleting it and downloading it again but it wouldn’t even get me past the passcode page even though I entered my passcode from the text they sent me correctly. Tried it on a couple of occasions and it wouldn’t work. ### 1/5 — No Good Anymore *2019-06-28, version 2.4.1* Would give negative stars if possible. My husband & I used to Hytch when he was home. Now they only pay for ride shares ending in Davidson county during a small window of time. There was no notice this was going to happen. Guess they got too big too fast & couldn’t afford to pay people. Too bad because it was a great concept ### 1/5 — This is only a spy app! Beware! *2019-06-18, version 2.4.1* Used to be a decent app but they make a lot of changes not for the better. Not worth the time no more points for morning commutes. No car commute points, very VERY few points for afternoon commutes but unhitches for no reason without letting you know in the evening commute. However, the app is not capable of handling users in the beta version. The app frequently drops a riders and fails to credit riders for miles ridden. We tried again and the app crashed 4 times throughout 3 hours and none of us made any money!! The app has worked beautifully until this latest update. We have never had an issue losing our connection until now. I hope this gets resolved. I can’t get the text to reactivate to come through fir entry, and have reached out to customer service through the app twice - no response. I’ve missed nearly two weeks of Hytch opportunities. Also on long drives now way to know if your getting credit or not until us finish ride with a frustrating “error” message. Seems to have issues on trips over 20 miles every time i go that far or more I always get error message. Wish they would ad a feature to show u earning in real time so u know if you earning or bot in real time. **Developer response:** Experiencing glitches is frustrating. Hytch adds a sense of relief for me, knowing that I’m not just offsetting my carbon footprint in some unknown way, but planting a tree at fixed intervals of distance while I drive! I don’t change anything about my behavior, and yet im making the planet a slightly better place just by opening this app while driving. Commute.
