Your app and payment system are very unreliable. Even after uninstalling the app and clearing the cache, the issues are still not resolved. Because of this, I’m not able to pay my interest on time, and meanwhile unnecessary charges and penalties keep getting added to my account. This is very unfair when the technical problem is from your side. At the very least, there should be a proper monthly EMI option where both interest and principal get cleared systematically. Right now, there is no clear structure. Customers are left confused about what amount goes where, and charges keep increasing without proper explanation. There is also a lack of transparency. Customers should be able to clearly see: • Total interest applicable • Total amount payable with principal • Monthly breakdown of what is being charged • Any penalties or additional fees in a clear manner Instead, the system keeps adding charges without proper clarity, and it becomes stressful for customers who genuinely want to pay and close their loans responsibly. If someone is trying to make payments on time, the app and payment gateway must work properly. You cannot expect timely payments while your system prevents customers from paying. Fix the technical issues first before adding extra charges. IIFL should seriously work on: • Fixing the app and payment failures • Providing proper EMI options that clear principal + interest monthly • Stopping unnecessary penalties when payments fail due to technical issues • Improving transparency in total interest and total payable amount • Giving better customer support and clear communication Customers deserve a transparent and stress-free repayment process. However the pay now option does not allow me to pay more than ₹999/- as of now. If you are giving the customer to make payment through your app, then allow us to input any custom amount (not the exceeding the total outstanding amount) or else simply remove the pay option all together from the app or when customer click pay, redirect them to your website where the payment can be done. This is really frustrating and annoying both at the same time. [July 04, 2022]: Yet again the new version 2.2 released is again having a major bug/issue. It does not allow to login with the correct account number. For example if you have multiple account numbers of previous loans, even if I select the current active account from the list and hit login, the selection automatically changes to the first account number in the list and logs in. After login there is no option to change the account number (which was there previously) to see the right information. Hence again even this version is total useless because it does not allow to login to other accounts except for the first default account listed. ==================================== The new version 2.0 released is even more buggy then the older version. It does not work at all. Stuck on Update app screen. When I click update, it opens App Store and in App Store it shows open button. When I click open from app store it opens the app and shows update app screen. Older version was at least working with bugs.
