This app update gave it to me - as soon as launch it gives me a full white screen with nothing on it forever. App crashes with Face ID unlock ### 2/5 — Cant log in because of pop up message *2024-07-17* Fix this bug. I am not able to login as the message appearing after log in wont move. ### 1/5 — App log in issues *2024-06-10, version 6.24* App Logs off evertime and doesn’t do face recognition and asks for OTP every time , now I get OTP on my email and the moment I go on my email to check the OTP , App doesn’t take it and request to generate a new one . Very frustrating as I am an international investor and can’t get OTP on my mobile number here so can’t ring India every day to get the OTP from my family . Guys please fix this issue ### 2/5 — Bugs affecting login *2024-06-06* I’m giving it a 2 star rating to bring to your attention that the app since the latest update keeps asking me to enter my phone number, enter otp and enter the pin. After that it keeps disabling device lock and changes the wishlist sort settings and portfolio sort settings. This happens almost everyday and annoys me a lot. This happened previously as well and got fixed after an update. Please fix this in the next release. In the latest update, app logs you off every time you put the app in background. It expects you to enter mpin everytine. Even if you enable device lock, it expects you to generate a new OTP every time and then enter the MPIN. It’s very irritating. This started happening only on the latest update. Everytime i have to login using client id and otp and set the mpin. Also after writing client id the app gets stuck at generate otp and doesn’t give display to enter otp. ### 3/5 — Before good Now very bad *2024-02-14, version 6.17* Before the app used to be excellent But now it doesn’t even allow inside even after entering mobile number and email. Thank you ### 2/5 — Suggested Small modifications *2024-02-11* Writing this review after four years of break from IIFL App. Well, I must say IIFL has tried to make the app better except the speed and removing basic bugs. Refresh rate is lagging as compared to other apps now a days. Even option chain does not get loaded easily. One has to refresh many times. And just for info, I am using the iPhone 15 pro. Stupid customer care asks to send the video through email and when video is sent, it gets bounced saying sending videos to this email ID is not allowed. Suggest IIFL to clear the bugs. -ROHITCH6 Reviewed in year 2000: Although a superb app. However, following small modifications are suggested to make the app more easy to use: 1. Change the color of the search scrip bar (coming at the top after clicking ‘Add Stock’. Presently it is of the same color as its outside color, making it difficult to identify at once. 2. Kindly keep ‘Orders’, ‘My Reports’, ‘Net Position’ and ‘Margin’ buttons in the ‘more’ menu on the top as these are the most used buttons during the day by most of the traders. Presently one has to scroll down in the ‘more’ menu to locate these buttons. Last but not the least, thanks for the wonderful app. - ROHITCH6 ### 1/5 — 😞 *2024-02-07, version 6.16* Contact detail always not working. ### 2/5 — Bug with Watchlists *2023-08-22* With the latest release there is a bug with the iOS app. When I select my custom watchlists, the app automatically closes. My stocks is the only watchlist that shows and rest all watchlists are impacted by this bug. ### 1/5 — Absolutely rubbish app *2023-08-11* IIFL doesn’t provide any services to customers. They don’t have the facility to activate an old account online seriously!!! Where other banks provide lots of online features for customers to buy and sell their shares, IIFL is nowhere in this digital era. We had no option for demat as we had to shift from Karvy to this, otherwise we never go this company. They don’t have offices in state like UP. Can you believe this! I am so frustrated with their services. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. ### 1/5 — Clumsy and unreliable *2022-09-24* Mobile App crashes very frequently, random stocks gets sold no matter what you pick, time delay on stock prices. Worst customer service. Web portal looks so old and clumsy. Some People of IIFL Told me For Open an Account on IIFL. These People is Rahul Upadhyay, Muskan & Divya Rajput. These People are doing Fraud with Customers. In Groups They Always Put Only Profit not Losses of People. These Person are Told me For Open Account on IIFL. We will Do Trading On My Account. I Have Add First Time 50K. They Told For Add More Amount Then I Have Add 1,00,000 INR. First Week They Gives me Some Profit. After First Week They Gives My Every Days Loss. And Week End They Becomes Me Zero. After Zero They Told me For Recovery. For Recovery I Have Add 1,00,000 More. In One Single Days They Becomes me Zero. These People are Doing Fraud With Others. We're here to help! ### 1/5 — App is full blank *2026-07-01, version 9.2* When opening the app, it just blanks out ### 1/5 — Cannot open the app *2026-06-23, version 9.2* After the latest update, I cannot open the app. I just see a blank white screen and nothing else. ### 1/5 — Very Bad User Experience *2026-02-06* The app was already barebones and functional, but instead of making it better, they have made it worse. There used to be a preview of required funds when placing a buy order, now it’s gone!. Instead it is used to promote their “buy now pay later” facility!! In that space it only shows partial required funds and prompts you that the rest you can pay later!!! And it doesn’t show the actual required funds anywhere!! How stupid is that!! So now every time I have to calculate separately to check if I have the required funds or just do guess work! That’s it! I’m fed up! I’m moving to Zerodha! I highly recommend all users to move to a different platform! ### 1/5 — Not seeing portfolio *2025-12-23, version 8.25* This app is really rubbish can’t see the portfolio. I don’t why IIFL is providing this kind of useless apps ### 1/5 — IIFL Brokerage Fraudulent Alert!!! *2025-01-29* Writing this review after using this app for almost 6 months. Please don’t ever use this app. First thing they always give trading only to benefit them and to increase the brokerage amount. Grow, Dhan have brokerage amount per order in IIFL it’s per lot. And they always provide trading calls for small margin and as a user you’ll ended up in loss if we’re not aware of it and they’ll not recover the lost amount because of them. On top of it don’t ever trust the girls who’s calling you from this company everyone is having same motto. The App’s API response is too slow and you can’t place the GTT order properly, GTT order always ended in buy and sell at market value which leads to the loss and no one will resolve it even after the complaint. And believe the profit screenshots which they send. ### 1/5 — Useless App, never works properly and crash every-time *2025-01-24, version 7.4* Recently, I am facing weird behaviour in the app. Once login with biometric it doesn’t show watch list only refresh button comes and does nothing. Menu option doesn’t work and freeze the app and finally crash the app in iphone 13 pro max, iOS v17.1.1 Need to uninstall the app and to install again from playstore to work properly but that doesn’t last long and same behaviour. ### 1/5 — App broken since last update *2025-01-13, version 7.3* Used to work well. Everytime it asks to login, otp, mpin, asks to setup device lock but that button does not work. Nothing less, Nothing more, a perfect balance indeed!! But A small request, please guys add the Dark mode. I know it wouldn’t take too much. Also whenever u guys do it, which i’m sure will happen soon. Do it a deep black, coz that looks great on amoled screens. There is too many technical glitch in the aap. Worst tech team IIFL has. A small startup has better tech team than IIFL. This is the reason Zerodha Is the best . In IIFL trading aap: My watchlist disappears suddenly and my entire trade gets stuck for 20-30 minutes. And I feel helpless and finally end booking loss in intraday. This is not expected. Is this some kind of fraud because it happens every day to me. ### 5/5 — Unable to place sell order through app. *2022-01-28* Even after authorising transfer of shares on CDSL site before placing sell order when I try to place any sell order system again asks me to authorise the same and page hangs up. I literally couldn’t place a single sell order for weeks. This happens only with app and web version is working perfectly fine. Mailed to helpdesk but my complaint was settled without any solution. Completely useless to invest in market through IIFL when I can’t sell any. ### 5/5 — Sale from demat *2021-06-11* Kindly make situation simple for sale of securities from demat account. It’s difficult to transfer online from demat to Iifl pool account for sale. Explain how to transfer to pool? ### 5/5 — Interface is nice *2021-06-05* Details section is well designed. One request that for Rookie Traders, the application is little unfriendly. It would be great to have an interactive traction, tells the user what is the option available. The behaviour of user, for an example, if the user on myholding page, no activity for long time, the application can tell what can be done in the current screen. That will help in getting info about all that. Moneycontrol has that on website but couldn’t see in app. Top of that moneycontrol is having terrible advertisements. Please give option for all that info. Also make chart more interactive where one can just look at chart and see all the info like split dividend split etc. ### 5/5 — Market buzz and iifl view *2017-10-25* These two features are very helpful for a client, IIFL view - helps the clients to know better any particular stock and make him more confident regarding any stock whether he should invest in that stock or not . Market buzz - it helps the clients to make him prepared for the next day trade.
