A Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus nasceu como Jesus: simples e humilde. Com muito esforço e disciplina, o seu líder, o Missionário R. R. Soares foi desenvolvendo o ministério realizando reuniões no Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e interior de São Paulo. A televisão foi o meio de evangelização mais utilizado para convidar pessoas a terem um encontro com Deus, além do rádio e folhetos. (Vale lembrar que o Missionário R. R. Soares foi o primeiro pregador do evangelho pleno a ocupar um espaço na televisão brasileira). É visível o crescimento da Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus, desde a sua inauguração em 1980 até hoje. Ela que começou no Rio de Janeiro e se espalhou em todo o Brasil, rompendo fronteiras e chegando a vários países da América do Sul, Europa, Africa, Asia e EUA. Nos EUA, os trabalhos da igreja se iniciaram no final do ano de 2003 em uma pequena sala de hotel em Deerfield Beach, Fl. Como a igreja é um corpo em expansão, não demorou muito para termos que mudar para um salão maior dentro do mesmo hotel e em Abril de 2005 a igreja pode se mudar para um local amplo e espaçoso podendo assim realizar reuniões diárias e manter as portas abertas 7 dias por semana para atender àqueles que buscam ajuda e conforto espiritual para suas vidas.
