### 1.1.6 — 2026-08-27

No more dead ends

• When the document check misread your photo, you used to be blocked with no way to build your document set. There is now always an "I have checked — continue" button: the check only assists you, the final call is yours.
• Fixed a bug where Reiwa era years were misread, marking valid documents as expired.
• Company-issued document stations now have an "I could not get this yet" option with a reason, so you can move on while waiting for your employer instead of having the whole set locked.
• Saving the document file on iPhone is now reliable, including sets with many photos.

Choosing a law office is clearer

• The three office buttons now show a service tier — Economy, VIP 1-on-1, VIP PRO — with a line explaining which cases each tier accepts.
• Each tier has its own price list. VIP PRO also takes on difficult cases: past refusals, overstay, cases needing an explanation to Immigration.
• Service fees now clearly state that revenue stamps, Immigration fees and translation costs are not included.
• Prices shown are for reference. The lawyer gives a firm quote after reviewing your case; if you do not accept it, you stop at no cost.

Fewer fields to fill

• Removed duplicated questions at the income-document stations and an unnecessary payment-method field in engineer renewals.
• Gender is now filled in automatically from the documents you already scanned.

Important fix: the "download full document set" button at the Final stop

• For some users who had completed every station, tapping the button did nothing. This is now fixed.
• The button is now called "Create document file (ZIP)" — the file is built on your own device, not downloaded from a server.
• A new note explains that your document photos stay on this device only and we keep no copy, so you should package them on the device you took the photos with. Signing in with the same account on another device will not bring the photos over.
• Other download buttons in the app (filled-in form, document photo, blank form template) did nothing when tapped on iPhone — they now save to your device too.
• After packaging, the app points you to "Save to Files". If saving fails, it now tells you instead of claiming success.

Easier ID photos:

• A head-and-shoulders guide frame, plus arrow buttons for fine adjustment.
• Thinner cut lines placed outside the photo so they no longer cover the face; the cut marks keep the exact size.
• You can now type a custom size in addition to the presets.

Languages:

• Burmese is now complete across the whole route and all document names, translated by hand rather than machine.
• Japanese is complete, with furigana on the explanations.
• English and Indonesian reviewed again.

New: print ID photos at a convenience store from just ¥30

• The ID-photo station can now lay 2–4 correctly sized photos onto one L-size sheet. Print it as an ordinary photo at a konbini (from ¥30) and cut along the dashed lines, instead of paying ¥800–1000 at a photo booth.
• Three sizes: 3×4 cm (Immigration application form), 3.5×4.5 cm (passport), 4×6 cm (Vietnamese documents).
• Guide lines show where the top of the head and the chin must sit under the Immigration standard, with two sliders to position the face.
• The sheet includes a 10 mm scale so you can check the printed size yourself, plus an 8-step guide to using PrintSmash in the store.

Application improvements:

• The app now drafts the explanatory letter (理由書) for you when you cannot obtain a tax certificate — a Japanese draft in the standard layout for you to review and sign.
• Family applications: tax certificates are now requested for the correct fiscal years based on your residence registration date.
• Permanent residence: the app now states exactly which five fiscal years are required.
• Full review of the English wording, and a clearer privacy policy about document photos.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-23

• The document route is now colour-coded by group: what you can do yourself, papers you must collect from an office, and papers your sponsor has to provide. Sections you haven't done stay faded and turn solid once complete, so a glance tells you where you are.

• The "Your application form" station now covers only the form. Downloading the full document set and asking a lawyer moved to the Final stop at the end of the route, where they actually help.

• Reopening a case takes you straight back to the station you left off at, instead of the top of the route.

• Photograph your passport once and reuse it across that person's other cases — the app now also reads sex and place of birth, so there is less to type.

• Permanent residence for a child: choose whether the child was born in Japan or already holds a Dependent visa. The app drops the stations you don't need and warns you about the 30-day filing deadline from the date of birth.

• Added a "the child has not been issued a residence card yet" option, and corrected the guidance on the Start screen to match the current route.

• The Specified Skilled Worker (Tokutei Ginou) journeys now follow Immigration's official document tables: pick your field and the app shows only the certificates that field requires — 17 fields for level 1, 11 for level 2.
• New Employment Contract station (photograph it, or mark "the company holds it") plus a "Who prepares which paper" guide station.
• Removed documents that are not on Immigration's tables, so you don't collect papers you never needed.
• Checkbox marks on generated forms now sit exactly inside their boxes.
• The name-entry dialog no longer runs into the top of the screen and sits closer to the keyboard.
