## What is IKEA Home smart 1?

It’s easy with the IKEA Home smart 1 app and TRÅDFRI gateway. Use one setting for early morning lighting and music, another for late evenings and a third for cooking or working at home.  

You can dim, turn off, turn on, change colours and switch from warm to cold light. Raise or lower blinds. Turn on your music – then turn it up, turn it down or pause it. And you can even control your air purifier to improve the air quality at home. 

With the IKEA Home smart 1 app, you can also connect to Apple Home, Amazon Alexa or Google Home and control it all with your voice.

Looks like Ikea silently stopped supporting many TRADFRI devices.. Gateway, bulbs, remotes and motion sensors all stopped working. Don’t even see them in their App.
Not able to configure Gateway module. This is not fair on ikea part. After investing so much on ikea devices they stopped selling these products and also stopped wireless connectivity.

They are garbage quality and an immense amount of work to get setup and configured. The app is garbage too. I can no longer control any of my smart blinds through the app and the automations have stopped working. Yet, I'm still able to control the blinds with the remotes. Makes no sense. Anyway, total garbage, do not buy, and good luck getting support.

I control 3 blinds with the app. 

There is a bug. If you slide a single blind to say 50% it also changes the position of the other blinds by a small amount.  There is obviously an issue mapping the location of the button sliders in the app.
