…I think it’s good and has potential, but the incremental updates are VERY LONG (almost a year!) between them, which don’t shown a very consistent development. That’s the only reason refrains me from paying for Premium. Still, 5 starts for a (seems like) solid product. 👍🏼

Widget does not work for me. I’ve tried everything. It only shows a blank, black square as the widget. I’ve tried selecting different lists, widgets styles/sizes, etc. It is always just a black widget block.

The internet is full of fun and interesting things, Ike’s helps me manage them. Artwork, quotes, things I want to follow up on, and more are all stored in Ikes. I can review them as needed and they are well organized. Love this app. Have already purchased the full version.

Endlich eine App, die mal neue Wege bezüglich der Organisation von Ideen geht. Ich nutze sie als 'Grundbuch' für alle Ideen, die mir in den Sinn kommen. Weil viele noch gar nicht ausgereift sind, brauche ich eine Ablage, die weder konkreten Termin noch Zuordnung verlangt. Das erfüllt diese App perfekt. Trotzdem kann ich alles bestens einsortieren und wiederfinden. Die eher minimale Auswahl, beispielsweise der Farbcodes, finde ich sogar hilfreich. Es unterstützt mich dabei, auf das Wesentliche zu achten, nämlich den Inhalt meiner Ideen. Zur Sortierung nutze ich die Kombination aus 'Tag', 'Source' und 'Farbe'. Das reicht, um jede Notiz schnell und zielsicher wieder aufzufinden. Synchronisierung funktioniert bestens zwischen Mac und iPad und der Preis ist angemessen. Einen Punkt Abzug, weil man Fotos nachträglich nicht in Einträge einfügen kann. Dabei lassen sie sich bestens als Icon nutzen und deshalb möchte ich sie manchmal tauschen.

Perfect for short notes when you don’t want to save the whole article or an excerpt of it is much more important to the rest. Has many use cases.

I’d forgotten about this app for a time being, and came back to an app that had advanced over time. Now has the new feature to create an image from a quote or any block of text.

This is the Goodlinks of text excerpts and quotes you’d like to safe keep from the browser or really an app. Definitely in my keep pile. 

It’s still useful in ‘freemium’ mode, but I definitely eventually will upgrade to premium.

Ikes is basically a source and input manager for people who want to remember passages from articles, books etc. Why not just use Apple Notes? I for one, never see these notes again. I wrote it down to help me recall information, but then I can never be bothered to look through all of my old notes. Ikes on the other hand allows through its elaborate tagging system and the random card feature that my notes and ideas don‘t get lost. That‘s why I appreciate the application.
