This app not only tells you if it's safe/toxic, but also whether or not it's actually healthy, along with letting you save a list of your pup's favorites! Its super easy to find a specific food as there is a search option. Major annoyance is that the 5 minutes work required to actually make this accessible to a UK audience hasn't been done. Want to find courgettes? Good luck. The scourge of 'US English' gets in the way of an otherwise useful app, and comes up surprisingly often. Most advice is sensible; but I often feel the need to check elsewhere to confirm, which kind of negates the point of the app. Example being hummus, which claims to be bad due to 'other ingredients'. What other ingredients? What does that even mean? I am so happy already with the thought that I can just easily reference this list of favorited foods when I’m in the kitchen with something tasty. No more googling “can dogs eat…” blah blah. This is a quick, simple, and intuitive way to check the general safety level of food for my pup (Samoyed, he’s very cute). The available listed foods are standard and the list itself not exhaustive, but it has the basic, more commonly used ingredients you’d find in a typical household. I am excited to use this app so I can more safely give my pup the tasty treats he deserves. Sharing is caring, after all - in moderation, of course. My only suggestion is that you color coat the foods. For example-toxic is red, healthy is green, okay is yellow or something.
