As a workaround, It does the job if you import new file. If the hamburger menu on the left could also bring up files or set listing it would be a big help. ### 2/5 — No marking up *2023-01-06, version 1.3* Is an okay app if you use it only for turning pages. An intermittent problem I’m having is: iKlip Stage does not populate the song list when “File” is clicked. I have to quit the program and restart it. It doesn’t function well. Imports don’t don’t show up. Switching between files and lists does not function properly requiring you to restart the app to edit playlists. Paid $9.99 for unlimited files and then found out I was only able to import my 200 song library one by one. Ridiculous! All my stuff in iBooks. ### 1/5 — A sad example of the absolute WORST apps for iOS *2017-07-31, version 1.2* I don't mind registering products and creating a user name and password - if the registered user login actually provides some value. As opposed to endless aggravation. I reset my password (successfully) and my user name and (new) password will log me in to IK Media My Products. But download an app and try to register it and - oops - an error occurs. The only suggested option is to change my password yet again. I really have better things to do than chase password resets from your web pages to your apps (on the same device! - iPad) and back again. It will not turn the page of my music using the irig blue and my 4th generation iPad. I cannot find a PDF set of directions to troubleshoot. I tried sending an email to their customer support but they have not replied. I bought the Forscore app and it works well although it is way more app than I need and cost me $10. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Do better, please? *2026-02-02, version 1.3* I honestly love IK Multimedia, I have almost all software they make for my computer and tons of hardware. They make great products, but this one is not good. I hate to be harsh to a company I love but this app is very basic, hard to use, hard to navigate and even with the Bluetooth page turner from IK, I couldn’t get it to work! Which is absolutely insane to me, I actually had to buy another app just to get my song charts ready for a show. Unless this app gets a major re-haul, I would invest in a more user friendly intuitive app rather than this disaster of an app. I still love you IK! ### 1/5 — $9.99 down the drain. *2024-02-17, version 1.3* This app doesn’t even work with the product that it was supposed to be designed for. Is easy to connect to BlueBoard. I like it. ### 5/5 — Undeserved Hate? *2021-06-28, version 1.3* I got an iRig Bluetooth Page turner a few years back. I used it on my old Android tablet. When I switched to my iPad, I forgot I had it as I rarely use my iPad for music performance. I found myself needing to lead a few worship sets, so I started using the app…ended up buying the full version. It works great as a PDF page flipper. That’s all I wanted. That’s all I needed. My only gripes would be cost vs function and lack of updates/development. But hey, I can easily give it 5 stars because it does what it says it does! ### 5/5 — Great Tool *2017-07-30, version 1.2* I simply followed the online instructions for importing PDF files to the application and it works flawlessly every time. And since I create all of my own PDF files I ensure that I format the document to display how I want it to before I finalize the list. I use my Blue Turn with my iPad and this app and have no problems. No problems with following the instructions that are easily accessible online with a simple Google search. ### 5/5 — IRig Blue Turn do not work from the File *2017-07-02, version 1.2* IRig Blue Turn work great from any "List", but do not work from the "File". Please, can you fix from the next version. Thanks. ### 5/5 — A clever idea *2014-07-31, version 1.0* I've been waiting for an app like this. I play in a small band and I am always losing my song/chord sheets. This lets me keep them in one place and easily access them during gigs or when we have rehearsals. Setting it up with my irig bluBoard was a piece of cake. This lets me flip pages by just pressing one of the buttons on the floor. ### 4/5 — Almost Perfect *2015-03-15, version 1.0* This app is great (especially considering the fact it's free). Can import songs, make set lists, and rename set lists. It really is a no-frills, straight forward app. Only have 2 suggestions for improvements: 1) Make it possible to rename files. Renaming set lists is easy, but it would be helpful if songs could be renamed within the app itself since the files are stored within the app (which is super helpful). 2) this one is far more important... Please, PLEASE make it possible to makes notes on the page. That would make this app 5 stars in a heartbeat. Any musician worth their instrument will tell you that making notes on their music is a must. Please make that possible with this app, a la Xodo Docs or TinyPDF. Thanks for the great app though! Looking forward to updates! ### 3/5 — Needs one thing *2026-01-17, version 1.3* Works great for page flipping, But does virtually nothing else. It would be so great if they could add editing functions to the pdfs. Because I want to add notes to my songs and it’s really annoying to have to go back to the original file, edit on another software and reupload and re add to all my playlists just to write down “capo 5” or something. I’d love to do that right in the app. Seems like a major oversight. Adding that would make this app 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Really useful app let down by interface *2021-12-08, version 1.3* Took me some time to get a couple of set lists from files in Dropbox which have to be pre-loaded into iKlip. Not intuitive but used it once up to now with no problems…… (it didn’t crash!). Blue turn works fine. Paid for the full version but no better. ### 3/5 — Developers take note! *2019-03-07, version 1.3* This app started off poorly and has very slowly had features added (too slowly). The user interface is poor but getting better. However, please remove the LIST VIEW. That stupid bar at the bottom covers up my sheet music and when I’m swiping through PDFs at my gigs (yes I’m an actual musician who bought an iKlip) it’s so f...ing annoying to now have to wait for the PDF to load and then tap the screen again to dismiss that stupid bar. It’s even there if there’s one page in the document saying 1 Page of 1, ridiculous. Just make it so the bar is hidden on load and appears when you request it by tapping the page once, not the other way around. It makes me wonder if you even gave it to a musician to test. It’s a shame really, this app has a lot of promise but is frustrating. Also, shame on you, I bought the iKlip and you only give us 60 Songs and a few Sets. If we showed you commitment by buying your product you should open the app up to reward loyalty. ### 3/5 — Great app *2016-04-16, version 1.2* Use this app a lot rather than carry boxes of sheet music. Play in a big band. Needs editing facility to change sheet names. All our music is numbered.
