In Italy “pizza a legna” (wood-fired pizza) is available everywhere, but it wasn’t until IL FORNELLO opened their first Toronto restaurant and offered this authentic style of Neapolitan, thin crust pizza that Torontonians were able to experience pizza the way it was meant to be prepared, baked and enjoyed.

But Italians are passionate and proud of all of the fantastic, rustic dishes they love and we are too, so we offer much more than just “Toronto’s Best Pizza”. At IL FORNELLO we believe that simple, fresh ingredients, prepared and cooked with love and passion become truly great dishes, from pizza to pasta to entrées and more.

And Italians don’t just “eat” their food they know how to enjoy the complete dining experience. At IL FORNELLO we strive to serve our exceptional food in an environment with a friendly and welcoming neighbourhood feel, inspired by the “Italian table” where people relax, share and enjoy their meal and each other’s company.
