A fun way to learn the names and locations of all 50 states and their capitals.

‣ Quiz yourself on both states and capitals.
‣ Earn States to unlock Puzzle Mode.
‣ Easy Mode for beginners and young learners.
‣ Spoken pronunciation of each state and capital.
‣ Facts about each state including state tree, flower, bird, flag, statehood and more.
‣ Settings screen to allow students to concentrate on specific states.
‣ Statistics screen to allow students to identify which states and capitals they need to work on.
‣ Zoom function for northeast region

Four modes to choose from for both states and capitals:

• Learn Mode allows you to tap and highlight each state to see its name or capital and hear it spoken. Launch the information panel to view additional facts about each state, including: capital city, nickname, tree, bird, flower, and more.

• Game Mode uses both text and audio prompts to see how many states or capitals you can identify. There are two difficulty settings: Easy and Hard. Easy setting has an adjustable time limit of up to 10 minutes, and indicates states that have already been found or are not being played. The Easy setting is great for young learners. Hard setting pits you against the clock to see how may states you can identify in one minute. Earn bonus points for any time remaining on the clock. Leader board keeps track of high scores.

• Test Mode is where you can measure your progress similar to how you may be tested in the classroom. There are two options available. For the spelling option, tap each state in any order you choose, and type its name at the prompt. For the location option, tap the given state when prompted. There are no time restrictions for Test Mode.

• Puzzle Mode is unlocked when you earn your first state. Earn states by playing the Game Mode. Once you have earned all 50 states, you can complete the puzzle. Earned states never go away, and you can shuffle and rebuild the puzzle as often as you like.

Engaging and fun application designed by a classroom teacher. Game Mode can be addictive, allowing you to unwittingly learn all 50 states in just a few hours.

### 5/5 — Makes learning the states fun

*2016-06-08*

We have offices all over the United States but I was having a hard times figuring out where all the offices are. After using this app, I'm able to point not only to the right area but know one states from another. The best way is to remember the shape of the state. I love this app.

### 5/5 — Really fun! For Adults too!

*2013-11-04*

I used to really enjoy my kids' leapfrog United States geography game, and was looking for something like it, so I could toss that old toy! This is similar but way better, and with lots more options. I love that you can tap the states and learn first, then graduate to the game, but with unlimited time, if you want it that way. And THEN move on to the timed race when you are ready. Well worth the price of admission.

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2013-09-25*

This is exactly what my 5th grader needed. There are lots of options for practice and testing. I love that there is even a place to learn facts about each state. We even competed with each other to see who could get the best score in the game. Totally worth the money!!

### 3/5 — Needs some work

*2013-09-24*

My son uses this app to learn all of his states. So far it has worked well. However now he is to the point where he needs to study all 50 at once and when we try to get into game mode it closes the app down. Please please fix this!!! I love that he can play games to learn the things he needs to know. This app has been great up until this point. We need game mode back though!!

### 3/5 — Timer is horrible

*2013-03-24*

When this app was first premiered, my son got a 100 on his state test the next day. I was showing it to everyone at his school. But now, they are revisiting it, and with the several updates it has gotten, the game mode forces him to a 2 minute limit. This should be adjustable. My son doesn't have this limit in his class. In his rush to accomplish it, he is making errors. With me allowing him unlimited time, (I told him not to worry about how many he got-just try for no errors), he got 31. Locking me into 2 minutes is a horrible choice.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-10-31*

Love that this app speaks the state names for children not yet reading. You can also set it to only test as many or as few states as you want. That is great for not making your child feel overwhelmed with so many to remember at once. Great app!

### 5/5 — Perfect app for all ages

*2012-09-26*

I originally downloaded this app to help my 4th grader learn all 50 states and fell in love with app myself. It lets you know the name of the states if you select the incorrect one and it also let you know how many you got correct in x amount of attempts. This is perfect app for all ages!

### 5/5 — Wow! Great Learning Tool

*2012-09-09*

We downloaded this app to help my grandson learn his states for school. He knew about 15 when he started. After about 4 hours over 3 days, he knew them all. I definitely recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Worth the dollar or two extra vs free :)

*2012-08-06*

I played it free first and then after getting the same states over and over, I went ahead and bought it. I Love all the extra features to learn about the states. Thanks! I'm hoping it has a capital game too, I need to keep exploring the settings.

### 4/5 — A Few Tweaks

*2012-06-15*

I am using this as a reinforcement tool in our homeschool curriculum for our 3rd grader & 4th grader. I really like it but would suggest a few tweaks. In the game and test mode, it would be nice if the states or capitals that were identified correctly would change color, thus limiting the options as you went along. Also, there should be a skip option that could register as an incorrect answer but would allow the player to move on in game or test mode. Other than that, the app is educational and enjoyable!
