### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-03-28, version 1.1.2*

Absolutely terrible my 6 month old dog could make a better app.

### 1/5 — Nothing makes sense here

*2019-02-24, version 1.1.2*

This app is not the same one that actually operates the lights. Nowhere does it say that, nor does it make sense why. But now that I found this, I'm no better off. Instructions don't make sense. App functions don't make sense. Not even someone who can intuitively figure things like this out can get it t work. C'mon people - this is standard stuff nowadays.

### 1/5 — App Crashes

*2019-02-18, version 1.1.2*

No one willing to help fix the issue. Very poor service.

### 1/5 — Connection issues

*2018-11-11, version 1.1.2*

It keeps saying “Connection Failed” when I login. Also, I can’t see my device after I went through the process of scanning for it and adding it.

### 1/5 — App is trashpacker!!

*2018-10-21, version 1.1.2*

Why you can’t make thing simple!!!? Your app is so confusing!!!

### 1/5 — Works fine

*2018-09-17, version 1.1.2*

Update: Dropped rating from 4 to 0 stars. Doesn’t work with multiple bulbs or multiple users! Everything works fine with the individual bulbs, but if both have power, the second one that’s powered up constantly connects and disconnects no matter how close I am to it. I verified they have different address.
When adding bulbs, both blink. Really disappointing.

Old review: Not sure what the other review is about. You have to long hold the light to get to the color/timer settings.
The menus and settings are exactly as advertised. This is awesome for the price.

### 1/5 — What junk!

*2018-03-18, version 1.1.2*

Wow, I can’t believe I found the worst app ever developed. Congratulations! My 6 year old daughter could design a better app, and it would work.

### 1/5 — New Update and it doesn't detect my light anymore

*2018-02-11, version 1.1.2*

New Update cane and i was all excited, thinking,"finally they made updates & hope they fix all" but after update my light bulb 💡 disappeared and when i tap add device it doesn't detect any more. I reset bulb but yet nothing. -999 star for this

### 1/5 — App should be removed

*2024-12-07, version 1.1.2*

Crashes Its no longer supported

### 1/5 — What is going on with this app??

*2024-03-05, version 1.1.2*

I used this app for a lightbulb I bought 2 years ago and just went to use it and the app will connect to the light but that’s about it, can’t turn it on or off or change the colors like I used to be able to do..

### 1/5 — APP NOT RELIABLE

*2023-12-06, version 1.1.2*

Controlled recessed lighting now all of a sudden APP is glitching. One light red other white. Have to remove them and throw away. Replace with other lights.

### 1/5 — Bugs

*2021-01-27, version 1.1.2*

The app won’t stay open and keeps crashing before I get the chance to change the color of my light. It’s stuck at blue and it’s always dark In my room. I used to love the app but now it’s not really worth it.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2020-07-22, version 1.1.2*

I've been using this app to control my light for about 2 years now and out of the blue, the app crashes on launch. I've tried it on my iPhone 11 Pro Max even tried reinstalling it, and I tried it with my iPhone 7 Plus same issue, same troubleshooting. Don't be cheap buy a reliable bulb like from Samsung.

### 1/5 — Another app

*2020-02-26, version 1.1.2*

This app is pretty bad and didn’t even add my devices. Go to the app called EIQ smart and add it there it works better.

### 1/5 — Constant crashing

*2020-02-10, version 1.1.2*

Loaded the app two days ago and set up two bulbs fairly easily. Two days later, I open the app to change light colors, and BOOM! The app crashes. And again and again. Even after rebooting my iPhone.

If you can't change a smart bulb's color, it's not very smart, is it? Nice bulbs, lousy app.

### 1/5 — Totally useless app

*2020-02-04, version 1.1.2*

Worked with 3 lights for few days, although the lights had to be reset several times. Now it does not work at all even after reinstalling the app. This is actually 0 star rating but can not select less than 1

### 1/5 — Trash

*2020-01-11, version 1.1.2*

Worthless app. I have four bulbs, only three will connect. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. I also have Feit light bulbs and app and both work great. After several months you’d expect this developer to fix their issues. Just reflects they won’t be around long...

### 1/5 — Nul

*2019-12-06*

Ne fonctionne pas

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 4/5 — Somewhat works...

*2019-05-01, version 1.1.2*

I’m surprised this even works on my XS Max. Although it does have the annoying black bars above and below it. Connecting the light bulb to the app was a bit confusing but it ended up working alright. Sometimes the lightbulb disappears from my saved devices list and I have to reconnect it from the app again which is unfortunate. Anyhow the light bulb is pretty decent and having the convenience to turn it on from my phone with just my bluetooth connection is good enough for me.

### 4/5 — Connection fail

*2018-04-29, version 1.1.2*

After installing 2 recessed LED fixtures, they began to flash white light. I then installed the app from the AppStore. I logged in as instructed and the app was not able to connect to the bulbs. It repeatedly reported “connection fail.” After about 10 minutes, one of the bulbs began flashing brighter. I clicked the “add” button on the app and it was finally able to see one of the bulbs. I selected the bulb and clicked install, then finish. Went back to the device screen and continued to get the “connection fail” notification and no devices were listed. I have not been able to successfully connect to the bulbs. They are still flashing white. I suspect the bulbs use a Bluetooth version that is incompatible with my iPhone SE.

### 3/5 — App is crashing....

*2020-01-02, version 1.1.2*

Any updates?

### 3/5 — Meh

*2018-03-20, version 1.1.2*

It works but barely. Does not save any settings or colors. It’s supposed to have this function as seen in the scenes function but it does not keep any settings. App seems to have been abandoned.

### 2/5 — The bulb works okay

*2018-07-28, version 1.1.2*

The bulbs sorta works except the colors aren’t very bright and I wish the music part of the app would work.
