Ordering via the app - meh *2026-02-25* When it comes to food, Illegal Pete’s is awesome! Great tasting food, large portions! A great value for the money. But order the food in person. The app does not give an option for Apple Pay, not a big deal but I had to go track down my debit card to enter. Then the order was incorrect. We order two orders of nachos. One was missing the queso & green chile. Seriously how do you have nachos without at least queso?????? The other order was missing the Pinto beans. So that was disappointing. The first time saying the order was for the following day. The second time placing the order in Boulder at a store I’ve never been too? Of coarse they can’t pick up the phone to cancel the order so I have to call my credit card company and decline the charge. I really don’t trust just having my card info on there like that. I also hate that you can’t just check in. So inconvenient and annoying. Also confusing because when you use a receipt it asks for the total, i highly doubt you want me to include the tip in that but I wasn’t sure if you would decline it if I didn’t put the actual total spent… i used the notes but ya this system sucks ### 1/5 — Yikes! New App doesn’t work *2026-07-04* Love Illegal Pete’s food, but the most recent app update is really bad. The design and interface is way harder to use, and full of glitches. But if I ordered with cheese the chile would be free. My order never showed up. I called the location during business hours, no answer. I cannot see any other way to get a resolution to my missing order or refund. I get it employees need tips, but asking me to tip before I even get the service is insanity. Auto tipping needs to be removed this is ridiculous.
