There are a lot of connection errors. You just open the app, and it can't connect sometimes, and you're stuck staring at a white loading screen while you're not sure if a bus left or not. There are two things, I find, that makes the CU transit app much better, but if Illini Bus had these, it would definitely take the most convenient spot. There is no place that shows you a schedule or a route of a bus. Yes, you can click on a stop and see what buses are coming and then track it, but first of all, the connection almost never works, and there's no option to plan ahead and find a bus schedule. It would be so much more convenient if you could have an option to click on a specific bus route and see a map of where it goes and its schedule. Instead, you have to find a stop, find the buses that go to it, and then click on one and watch to see when it gets there. There's so much work to find a bus route, when you should just have an option to see any route at any time. Another big pet peeve is that if I'm taking an unfamiliar route or I'm trying to see how close a bus is to a location I'm going to, there is no option to look for stops near it. There's only the option to plan your trip by asking you to search for a specific stop. This is difficult especially when you don't know street names or stops near where you're headed. There should be a trip finding option where you have the option to pin point a location on a map, and then have the app show you a bus route to the closest stop to where you're going. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2016-01-26, version 4.1.1* There is always a loading error.
