Dựa trên sở thích, năng lực và điểm mạnh được xây dựng từ lý thuyết Đa trí tuệ của Garner được ILO thực hiện trong bộ tài liệu “Hướng nghiệp” dành cho lứa tuổi 14-19 của ILO.

Đây là bộ tài liệu được sử dụng trong việc tổ chức các hoạt động giáo dục hướng nghiệp ở trường trung học cơ sở nhằm giúp các em học sinh tìm hiểu về bản thân, về thế giới nghề nghiệp, xây dựng các phương án chọn nghề và chuẩn bị cho nghề nghiệp. Đồng thời là công cụ để thu thập ý kiến của quí vị cha mẹ học sinh và hướng cha mẹ các em tham gia vào quá trình tư vấn giúp con mình lựa chọn nghề nghiệp và hướng đi phù hợp sau trung học cơ sở.

Tài liệu được biên soạn theo tinh thần đổi mới phương pháp dạy học phát huy tính tích cực của học sinh, nhằm nâng cao tính chủ động, sáng tạo của học sinh và có sự tham gia của gia đình trong quá trình hướng nghiệp.
