## What is iLog Aviation Logbook?

The App was designed as a supplement to (not replacement for) your complete Flight Data archive. iLog is a handy method to enter & access your flight data. Just as you do now, enter your flight data by entering Trips (which contain Flights, Crew Names, Expenses, and Trip Comments, etc.). Then, using the built in search functions, you can quickly find when you flew to a city, in an aircraft or with a crewmember.

FEATURES:
• Quick and Simple Data Entry:
Flight data is entered starting on the Trip Page.
You create Trips which contain your Flights, Expenses, and Remarks.
You add Flights to the Trips which contain Times, Aircraft, Landings, Crew Lists, etc.
Times can be entered in Local, UTC or a Reference timezone (selected by the user).
- Notes:
You can enter notes for any Trip, Flight, Crewmember, Aircraft or Airport.
• Monthly Calendar View:
You can view (and select) your Trips right on a Monthly Calendar.
You can also add Events (like Vacation) and Notes to the calendar.
• Route Maps:
You can view a route map for the trip or individual flights.
• Data Export:
Export your flights as comma separated values (CSV) for import into your permanent logbook or spreadsheet.

Totals are also available for a Trip, the Monthly Calendar, and the results of any search.

The info messages are breaking the functionality of the crew lookup feature. If you enter a name to lookup it will find the person but if you click the magnifying glass to see past trips you get an info message about the web sign in being turned off.

Sometimes these errors are due to your airport database not being updated.  If you go to the airport lookup and push the refresh page it will fix your database.

I like the display of the app, but don’t try to see the pics of your crew, because it will be in a perpetual loading status. If you try to contact the developer, there is no option to ask questions. There is just some how to videos. Very frustrating.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review.  We respond to emails and there’s an in app function to send directly to us as well.  We also sent a in app blastmail notification to all users on how to get your crew photos to load for United while we fix the issue.  The issue isn’t with the App it’s with the fact that your airline is adding security layers to their websites and we need to develop a new way to download the crew photos.

Been using this app for years now and just encountered my first glitch. The airport database needs to updated as BER/EDDB is not on the list. The app can not properly update any trips that are flown into and out of BER/EDDB. I have to choose TXL/EDDT for these trips but make a note that the actual airport was BER/EDDB. Additionally, while attempting to submit feedback through the app, I was unable to select the “submit/send” button. Separately, while attempting to submit feedback through the App Store website link, I received an “phishing” warning for the link. I hope this review finds its way to the developers.  

The developer reached out and I revisited the airport database to search for BER.  Brandenburg appeared but as SXF.  Subsequently the database self corrected and EDDB became BER.  

I thank the developer for reaching out and providing additional means of contact for app support.

Btw, the database does reflect EDDB so you need to ensure your phone or iPad updates the local database you’re using.  This will solve the issues you’re having with data import because that was updated in the database months ago when other users reported it missing. 

The user feedback submit button not showing up is being worked on and hopefully we have a solution to that soon.

He tenido diversos problemas con la app.. al cerrar la aplicación de cualquier modo, al volverla abrir se resetea y me manda al principio,desde la carátula de inicio, antes se abría desde donde la había dejado.
Me ha borrado base de datos que tenía guardados y he perdido la información, aún teniendo el backup

This app has been wonderful and I’ve been using it for years. I recently updated to the latest app and have noticed a few bugs that weren’t there before. When uploading data from my company it appears to get stuck in a loop when importing crew members info and will eventually crash before completing the update. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next update.

I have had this electronic log book for several years and currently unable to log into my FLICA account for pairing upload… I think it was caused by the latest update.

The pop up menu’s text color is blue when the iPhone is on night mode.  Very difficult to read. Can you change the color to a more night mode friendly color please?

Disabled saving of crew passwords for airlines.  All airlines will need to input their password each time they open the app in the User Info section to eliminate a security issue.

United Airlines import:  The CCSPlus website should automatically forward from the old websites.  The app will attempt to login to it, but if it doesn't complete, then help it out.  Once it's logged in, navigate to the legacy CCS and then to My Schedules.  You should be prompted to import your schedule just as before.

An example.  Once in CCS+ Select Schedules, Select the Calendar icon, Select My Schedule History.  From there in the legacy CCS, select My Calendar.  You should be prompted to import your schedule as before.
