## What is iLogger?

iLogger is the only app you will need to log and record all of your activities. If it happened, you can log it. User definable logs allow you to keep track of the events you want and how you want them. iLogger comes with sample logs to get you started quickly but you can set it up any way you desire to fit your needs.

NOTE: The free version is fully functional but it limits you to 15 entries. A single one-time in-app purchase will remove the restriction on the number of entries you can enter.

Here is a small list of things you can keep track of:
• Food / Diet / Calories
• Exercise / Fitness
• Running / Jogging / Biking / Hiking
• Car Maintenance
• Gas Mileage
• Consulting time / Work
• Project construction
• Trip Diary
• Flight Log
• Dive Log
• Swim Log
• Medical / Medication
• Sleep / Dreams
• Money
• Ham Radio
• Anything you want to keep track of

Quickly import your existing logs directly from your computer. You can also export your logs from iLogger directly to your own computer or via email. Built-in backup and restore to/from your own computer ensures you always have a copy of your data.

Quickly find your events using iLogger's powerful filtering, searching, and sorting capabilities.

Data entry is made easy with autofill and quick copy.

iLogger allows you to enter the following types of data:
• Text
• Note/Comment
• Date
• Time
• Duration
• Currency
• Count
• Numbers (Integer, Decimal)
• Yes/No
• Web Address
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Location (GPS, address, city, etc.)
• Voice Memo
• Calculated (use basic math on other attributes and values)
• Lookup List (user defined list of values)

Store up to 20 photos for each of your entries. Use existing photos or take a photo with the built-in camera.

Share your data with others. Email logs to co-workers or friends and family. Other users of iLogger can import your shared logs directly simply by tapping a link in the email.

Customize entry lists to display exactly the data you want to see. Apply colors to logs or individual entries to make them stand out.

See a summary of the entry list you are viewing. Shows entry count and totals and averages of your data.

Generate a report of your logs viewable on your computer. Includes a print friendly version of your entries.

Protect access to your data with a passcode. Keep others out of your data. The passcode feature functions just like the version built into your iOS device.

The Tools menu gives you access to:
• Data Transfer (Backup, Restore, Import, Export, Reports)
• Lookup List maintenance
• Settings (Display Options, Sorting Options)
• Passcode Lock

### 5/5 — Loving iLogger

*2026-08-20, version 3.0.2*

Early days and taking some time to learn, but iLogger is showing itself as one of the best apps I've tried where can log events as I tackle them, as a timeline record, together with the ability to export to do analysis on my productivity.

iLogger while simple is effective, ie not overly engineered, making it easy to set up to record what I want it to.

I'm in favour of apps that require you to explore and learn; when you fully understand their features and how they work you can get the best out of them.

I can see this as becoming a constant go-to app for me.

Low cost, but I would happily pay a small subscription because it's worth it.

### 5/5 — All the functions, no ads or spying

*2025-12-09, version 3.0.2*

Absolutely ideal app. So flexible, you can use it for everything. And best of all, it’s not spying on you and stealing your data, or locking you into some extortionate subscription. I use it every day and highly recommend it.

### 4/5 — Almost there, still worth it!

*2024-09-26, version 3.0.1*

Great little activity logger, simple and effective, however missing one important thing for me - the time! I can see it logs the created date/time but if you wanted to back log/date something on the same day then that’s no use. Shame because otherwise a great app!

### 5/5 — Great app, but need export all entries for a date range

*2023-05-13, version 3.0.1*

Superb logging app, but need to be able to export ALL log entries for a select date range. This should be easy to implement and immensely helpful.
JSON and .DBF formats would be helpful, along with ability to send to Apple Numbers, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheets (and databases).
At least simple encryption using something like SHA256 (or user’s choice of hash) with XOR would be great.
In my case, I can generate a hash with one of the iOS hash apps, but still need to XOR the data with it.

### 5/5 — THE PERFECT APP

*2023-05-04, version 3.0.1*

Finally a simple and straightforward app that does everything I need to log stuff. This is app is well worth the $3. All features packed into one app. I just have 1 issue.

Issue:

When trying to add pictures to entries it won’t let me add RAW images. It can add images taken by WhatsApp and other third party apps but when trying to add raw images, after clicking on “add” it just closes the dialog box and doesn’t add the image.

### 5/5 — Great do-it-yourself logging app!

*2018-04-14, version 2.4.3*

If you like things the way you want it, this is a robust but easy to use app. Have used for years, never a problem.

### 5/5 — One of the most used apps on my phone

*2018-01-13, version 2.4.3*

I have been using iLogger for 7 years! Can't praise it enough. So flexible and adjustable to anything you want to keep track of. Highly recommend!

### 4/5 — Very good app

*2017-12-27, version 2.4.3*

Please include iCloud backup.
Thank you.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-06-07, version 2.4.3*

I've been looking for an app like this forever, not sure why I couldn't find it before. Provides a lot of detail and is well thought out. This is a great logging app. Well worth the $3!!

### 5/5 — Been using this for years now

*2016-01-09, version 2.4.1*

I haven't been able to find anything comparable. This is completely customizable and durable. Excellent!
