## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — None of the apps work

*2021-02-25, version 1.2.2*

I would love to give it five stars. Or 4, or 3. But for that, I should be able to see the apps. None of the apps in this bundle works. They only thing I see is a 14 seconds video for each one. That’s all. Video looks good though. But that is not what i paid for.

### 1/5 — no longer opens

*2020-05-12, version 1.2.2*

sad to pay money awhile back and now doesn’t work. dev makes the money from people and then walks away from app. oh well, this is why i’m not buying apps anymore

### 1/5 — Suspicious

*2020-01-12, version 1.2.1*

These books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission.

### 1/5 — A once great app reduced to a money grab

*2018-08-05, version 1.2.1*

I really liked all of the apps from these guys. I work as an ESL teacher and used them for my students to get them excited and interested in what, normally, terrified them. My daughter also greatly enjoyed them. I saw their purchase as in investment of interest. Then came the mandatory updates and they added new content that was an in-app purchase but they LOCKED what I had already paid for before! Now one app and .99 cents would be one thing...but I had gotten so many of them! I didn’t fork out nearly $5 each just to be held up for more to buy back what I’d already had! I got in touch with t hem thinking this was an error and got a person who spoke very lovely and said oh, it’s just a mistake I’ll get you the codes. NEVER HAPPENED. and who’s to say if I gave in now that I wouldn’t have to purchase them all AGAIN at their next fund raising opportunity. Sorry. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me. I’ll stick with the old YouTube teacher cartoon standby and put my money into books that aren’t taken away and ransomed, thank you very much!
I don’t know what’s going on w these review responses. I never got a response until today and it popped up in notifications just now... and yet it says the response here was from the day after.. in November.... it is now AUGUST... I did indeed correspond multiple times w someone there newly in charge of getting your apps out to teachers...after weeks of promises I got no more answers and changed my reviews to reflect my disappointment. I don’t mind update fees after a huge OS update... but not buying them again. I don’t have the $$ for that.

### 1/5 — Does not open!

*2016-11-24, version 1.0.1*

Is there something wrong with this app?

### 3/5 — Law of Life amendments

*2019-02-17, version 1.2.1*

1) Jack London's probing, Darwin-realist dog & human adventure stories were scary enough --without adding this app's illustrations of cartoonish, demonic wolves. -- It takes away respect for the power of the natural, "great outdoors" always present in London's fine stories.
2) Page swiping got stuck too--this made this reading experience frustrating--on top of creepy.

### 4/5 — Eaglesflight177

*2016-10-11, version 1.0.1*

My first experience with this type on interactive book. The Enjoyed it immensely. Was captivating and kept me engaged. Good job!

### 4/5 — Beautiful art

*2016-09-29, version 1.0*

Fans of the creators other iClassic apps should be delighted with this latest pairing, although there are bugs still to be worked out. Sound and motion don't work, which knocks off a perfect rating this time. Nice sampling of London's style & the artwork is exquisite.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal

*2019-03-19, version 1.2.1*

Just wish I had found these apps sooner. Unparalleled storytelling and at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Wonderful and Cool

*2018-03-15, version 1.2.1*

It was great to read. I would recommend. The interactive features kept me reading and are very creative. My only criticism is they should have a glossary of the words used in the story. Some words are rarely used anymore.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-02-03, version 1.0.1*

Music, animations, the great text of a Master.

### 5/5 — Love them

*2017-01-16, version 1.0.1*

Love them all... As for this one, great! Never read his books before, what an awesome way to be introduced to this great author. Keep new books coming, I always buy immediately

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2016-12-03, version 1.0.1*

I believe that Mr. London would be very pleased with this artistic rendering of his literary works.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2016-11-30, version 1.0.1*

I have never read these stories or was really familiar with Jack London. I thought this would be for teens and even kids, but the stories could be too violent or adult in theme for under teen. It was pleasantly surprising in the animation and Jack London will be explored more in my world with themes I will be chewing on for the next few days. I will read more of the series for IPad.
