We’ve had this system for over 6 yrs and are replacing with new lights that can actually set a Holiday Scene. ### 2/5 — Music mode not working. *2021-01-07, version 5.3.3* I have iPhone 11, when I click on music or effect mixer it logs out the app. Help fix before I return product. ### 2/5 — Just missing a few things to be fully functional *2020-12-23, version 5.3.3* It could be so good....this app falls short with the effects mixer and music. Plain ole static RGB color control works good. (Set it to one color and forget it) and their basic color jump patterns work well also. The big buzz killer for me personally, along with many other users is the fact that we can’t choose colors to jump from in basic settings. In order to have this option, you’ve got to basically keep the app open.. which is a no go for everyone. Super crappy on that aspect. If you close outta the app, it stays on last color it was on (in mixer mode). Bummer. Needs work. Please fix it! Synching lights to music is a cool feature. GUI FIX: One should be able to have a simple circle of a choosable X number(s) of colors and the ability to give a % (of 100%) before moving to the next color and the devotion to fade or flash to that next Color. - Chose the number of colors - Pick color for each - Slide to change duration % between each ... -Change speed of circulating through light separately - using the same function currently in use. This puppy remains incredibly lacking - but not for the lack of computational or memory needs built into the smartphones controlling it - but rather from simple laziness of the programming staff/ and budget... Seeing as this was the sole purpose of purchasing these light, I’m very disappointed. Please fix this issue! The main and, ultimately, terrible problem that makes this app useless is that it can not keep any of the lamps connected. I have six lamps and the are CONSTANTLY appearing and disappearing from the main screen of the app. It makes it really difficult to make any changes once you’re in the light’s controls is it disconnects while you’re making your changes. It also makes it very difficult to add any of the lamps to the groups as they only show up in the “group” only if it’s connected. It’s almost easier to use the physical remote to make simple changes. ### 1/5 — Lighting *2019-12-24, version 5.3.3* Excellent lamps but as previously stated app does not work with music on my IPhone 8 Plus. Very disappointed as this was the main reason I purchased these for Christmas party. Seems like when your iPhone updates this app doesn’t. There is just a delayed turn off function but no real timer function ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Used with one light bulb *2023-12-19, version 5.3.3* It works great with my singular light bulb! ### 5/5 — Control Variety & Fairly Easy to Use *2023-08-06, version 5.3.3* I’ve seen a lot of other reviews complaining about not being to change certain things but the app has updated substantially since then. You can control color, brightness, speed etc. for each “Lamp” or a your group so you have complete control over what light performs what function. As far as the changing to music goes, it works pretty well with coordinating the lights and brightness to speed and insensitive of music volume so it definitely looks cool! Only thing I would suggest is being able to sync it with a music streaming app like Spotify or Apple Music rather than using the iPhone Microphone. It takes a second or so for the light to change, but is perfect for a children’s show which we want to use it for, particularly because you can get them to smoothly change between one colour and another. The scene memory as useful – it will remember colour and intensity of the lights you set, although be great if you could program the transition time between scenes, as it would be perfect for our intended use. I can’t work out how to pair the lights with another phone or the remotes without losing the first one. You should be able to do this, according to the instructions, but I can’t work out how.
