## What is Image ASCII?

Turn any photo into ASCII art: a picture drawn entirely in characters. Pick an image, choose a style, then save, share or copy the result in seconds. With Pro, do the same with video clips and your live camera.

FOUR WAYS TO RENDER
- Image: color or grayscale characters drawn as a picture you can save or share
- Mono: classic plain-text ASCII you can paste anywhere
- Braille: dense dot art made from braille characters
- Blocks: chunky shaded block characters

TUNE EVERY CHARACTER
- Set the detail from 10 to 200 columns
- Choose a character set: Standard, Simple or Detailed
- Invert brightness, switch to grayscale, and pick a transparent, white, black or custom background
- Cut out the subject to drop a busy background
- Press and hold to compare with the original photo, and zoom in to check every glyph
- Restyle in one tap with preset looks, from terminal green to synthwave

BRING IN ANY IMAGE
- Your photo library, or take a photo on iPhone and iPad
- Drag and drop, or choose from Finder, on Mac
- Paste from the clipboard or load an image from a web link
- Send images from other apps with the share sheet (iPhone and iPad) or Open In

SHORTCUTS AND SIRI
Two actions, Convert Image to ASCII Art and Convert Image to ASCII Text, use your saved style without opening the app. Add them to your own shortcuts or ask Siri.

FREE TO START
Every style, the built-in character sets and the System Mono font are free, with a daily allowance of new images. Changing the style or settings of an image you have already loaded never counts against it.

IMAGE ASCII PRO
- Unlimited conversions, in the app and in Shortcuts
- Video to ASCII: convert clips up to 5 minutes long, trim them, and export MP4 (H.264 or HEVC, 480p to 1080p, with or without sound) or a looping GIF of up to 15 seconds
- Live ASCII camera: watch your camera as ASCII in real time and snap stills
- Custom character sets: build your own ramp, one glyph per brightness level
- Custom fonts for Image, video and camera output: Archivo Black, Anton, Rubik Mono One, DM Serif Display, Righteous, Pacifico, Space Mono and VT323
- Every preset look, plus saved looks and custom palettes: keep your own looks and build palettes of up to five colors

IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC
A native app on each, with the same features everywhere. Pro unlocks on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.

NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT
Photos, videos and camera frames are converted on your device and never uploaded.
