Been trying for several minutes and it won’t connect. Finally after turning it off, voila it’s connected. The camera gets so hot. ### 3/5 — A toy for some, useful for others *2018-06-10, version 1.0.6* The optimal focus range is from approximately 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches. This means you cannot use it to look up your nose or similar restricted area, but it could do an adequate job of inspecting your teeth and throat. This also means that you cannot clearly see anything outside of this range. It does appear to magnify the view of what you can look at. With the almost 12 foot stiff cable, you should be able to push it quite far into plumbing or under and behind appliances to locate objects. It would be extremely difficult to find objects buried in sofa crevices. Auto mechanics might find this very useful for inspecting inside engines. The main drawback of the stiff cable is that it cannot be easily rotated, so the software has an image rotate function. The tip does get hot when the lights are on full power. The lights don’t fully turn off. ### 1/5 — Worthless. Don’t waste your time or money *2018-06-09, version 1.0.6* Bought the WiFi microscope for this app on Amazon. App connected once then never again. I tried all the tricks listed here and online. Nothing worked. Followed all instructions, including linking my phone to it using INSECURE WiFi, and granting the app access to my photos, but never saw any video from the device. My phone found and connects to the WiFi device, but when I try to open the app it doesn't open and takes me back to my home screen. The camera I bought recommended this software but it useless. The camera seems to work on USB connection but not via its WiFi module. I follow the instructions with turning WiFi on and connecting my phone to you but the app does not acknowledge that it is connected. The device is charged and on but I am not able to have it connect to the app to give me a live video feed. Also in settings you cannot disable this apps access to cellular data, it is always on. Finally, took a few photos and it showed successfully taken on app. When I went to photos they were all gone. ### 1/5 — Problem with connection to iPhone X *2019-02-27* Even though the phone is connected to the device wifi the app does not detect the connection and keep waiting for the connection. Not changing my star until actual updates to this garbage software is done and I’m making sure NO ONE buys this crap until so as well, in my influential group of tech nerds and I’m contacting StackSocial to stop selling this crap if it doesn’t get fixed properly. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2018-11-16, version 1.0.7* I can’t connect the transmitter to my phone I have an iPhone 6s and I tried the process ten times. There is the ability to record video and take pictures. The functionality to rotate the screen in 90 degree increments is a good feature. The included hook is just perfect for abortions. Long gone are the days blindly performing abortions with a clothes hanger.
