## What is ImaNoko?

An ordinary walk. Just a trip to the shop. In the car, going somewhere. Deep in something.
Eating a snack without a care. Playing with everything they have. Asleep, worn out.
Doing nothing at all…

The special days are already filmed. The ordinary ones slip by.

ImaNoko reminds you at the times you choose. Open it, press once, and it stops on its own after five seconds. Nothing to decide, nothing to trim.

Your clips line up by date. Look back on them, or join a day into a single film.

What it does
· Five-second recording that stops by itself
· Reminders at the times you set, with wording that never blames you for a day you missed
· Front and back camera, zoom, self-timer
· Quality, frame rate and stabilisation settings
· A short note after filming, added with one tap from buttons you define
· Up to eight of your own note buttons
· Up to five children, with name and age shown on the video
· Choose where the date, time and note appear
· Add the place and temperature, one clip at a time
· Change the note or place afterwards, within seven days
· Open the camera from the Lock Screen or Control Centre (iOS 18 and later)
· Play a day, or join it into one film
· Save the result to Photos, or share it anywhere

Your videos stay on this iPhone. No account, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sent to any external AI.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.5 — 2026-09-25

• Pick a date to import that day's photos and videos all at once
• Added a yearly calendar of the days you recorded to the Log screen
• In Outings, Watch and Save now sit next to the date
• Photos and videos you've already imported no longer appear in the date list
• Imported videos now play sound even when your iPhone is on silent
• Fixed videos taken with the Camera app sometimes missing from the date list
• Fixed "Record another" sometimes using your previous location after you moved
• Fixed dates shifting out of place with larger text sizes

### 1.4.4 — 2026-09-21

• Telling someone about ImaNoko now adds 5 imports for the month. Once a month.
• After you save a film to Photos, we may ask how you like the app.
• The outing mark in the day list is smaller now, so the dates line up and read more easily. When a day has more than one outing, a count appears instead.
• Renamed the outing's Fix button to Edit.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-09-20

• The records screen now shows how many days you filmed in the past year, along with the number of clips.
• Opening Import now explains what you can pick first: videos or photos, and a photo becomes a 2-second video.
• Photos and videos received through other apps often lose the date they were taken. We now say so on the import screen. Sent by AirDrop, the original date stays.
• Importing is free for 5 items a month. For more, ImaNoko Plus lifts the limit.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-20

• You can now delete an outing, so a mistake is easy to clear away. No videos are deleted.
• While an outing is being recorded, the home title changes to Outings.
• The glowing edge during an outing is now easier to see — and it no longer animates, so it is lighter on the battery.
• Swapped the order of the Later and Log buttons at the bottom.
• On the review screen, the close and rotate buttons now sit at the edges of the screen.
• The top of the records screen stays readable at large text sizes.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-19

• Outings have changed. Creating one now needs ImaNoko Plus, but you get one free outing every month. Anything you have already created stays viewable, even if you cancel.
• Added an Outings tab to your records, so an outing that spans several days stays together.
• While an outing is being recorded, the edge of the screen glows in rainbow colors.
• Redesigned the ImaNoko Plus screen, so you can see what it includes at a glance.
• Fixed oversized date and age text on landscape videos. It now sits in the black bars above and below.
• The close and rotate buttons no longer cover the video on the review screen.
