## What is iMAPS Mobile?

iMAPS Mobile is the definitive property mapping app for the City of Raleigh and Wake County.  With iMAPS Mobile you can research property information by searching by address, owner, PIN or REID numbers or by tapping on the map.  This information also includes building photographs, links to deed information, links to real estate information, and civic service information, such as elected officials.
Additional map layers, such as zoning, soils, greenways, topography, etc., can also be added to the map to find even more information.  The base map can also be changed to display aerial photography, including historic images from 1981 onward.

I’m a septic inspector that used this app to pull up septic permits. With the new update I can no longer use this app

This app is sexist. If you want to search for a property by owner name, you always have to use the man’s name. Anytime I put in the woman’s name, it says no results found. If I don’t know the husband’s name, I have to go to the website version instead. I believe the reason is probably that the search only looks at “primary” owner. It’s bad enough that our flawed system is always putting the man’s name first on the deed, even if the woman is the primary on the mortgage, etc. This app makes the sexism so much more obvious and difficult to use.

I’m a home inspector and this app is crucial in my job. Compared to all the other municipalities in the area, Wake Co’s mapping systems are hands down easiest to use and this app takes it to the next level.

And now it has been updated for iOS 13!

This is a great app!! I did not know that this app exists. It has aerial map that showed me the borders with my neighbors. I was thinking of getting somebody to clearly define this for me. It has a lot of information and you need to give it enough time to explore it.

### 3.1.2 — 2026-06-24

This is a critical update that removes a legacy API key, which could cause the map not to load after June 27th.  This update is required for app to function.
Fixed a bug where the map may load more than once.

- Search by either first owner or second owner listed
- Fixed bug where deed and plats are not shown after accepting disclaimer until sheet dismissed and reloaded
- Upgraded to ArcGIS Swift SDK 300.0.0

Updated the URL to the deed and plat views to point to the new Register of Deeds site.  Updating is highly recommended as new documents are not being posted to the previous site and will eventually not be available.

- when searching for a property by address, the property information was not appearing when the address was selected.
- when searching for a property by PIN number, the PIN text was not appearing in the list

Enhancements:

- Updated to the 200.7 version of the ArcGIS for Swift SDK.

If the property has a septic permit a Septic Permit button has been added between the Tax Info and Services buttons on the property information screen.  This button will open the permit on the permit portal in the browser.  This button will not appear if there are no septic permits available for the selected property.
