### 5/5 — Favorites Tab

Love the app. Nothing to complain. But you really should add an option to Star or favorite recipes. That’s all. Good work.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2022-12-01, version 0.1*

I just downloaded this app after it was recommended to me by Blake Adams. He sent me this way so that I can learn to make drinks at home. I can’t wait until Blake’s drinks make its way onto the app. I know I’d never be able to recreate them at home otherwise. This app looks so easy to use. I’m excited to browse the drinks and to start making them (and figuring out my favorites)!

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2022-11-07, version 0.1*

It’s like having my entire library of cocktail books in my pocket. The function for batch recipes is hugely helpful. Any bartender should have this tool…really can’t speak more highly about it.

### 5/5 — The best cocktail app

*2022-09-19, version 0.1*

Accidentally found this app and fell in love with it! Started to use it in bars a lot when I want to try something new - I just show the recipe to the bartender and voila you get a perfect drink. It's also good for learning how to make cocktails at home - there are hundreds of different recipes and you can filter for the ingredients you have and get the options that you can make! Also nice that you can read the history of the cocktails (and show off in front of friends haha) and see what the drinks look like!

Highly recommend it to everyone who likes and enjoys cocktails and for those who are learning how to make them at home

### 5/5 — Great app for new and experienced bartenders.

*2022-03-31, version 0.1*

So much easier than googling a recipe and seeing 10 different versions while you’re in the weeds. Classic recipes, no ads, simple and to the point. Plus all the detail you could want with one or two extra taps. I will say, the app can feel a little janky when you accidentally zoom in on a page that shouldn’t even have zooming capabilities, or if you accidentally spell something wrong and nothing comes up, but both of those issues pale in comparison to the usefulness and detail of this wonderful app, and it always being updated. So I’m sticking with 5 stars. This has been invaluable to me and I’d have gladly paid more than 3 bucks. Should add a button in the app that says “buy me a beer” where I can Venmo a tip to the creator lol. This app was clearly made by a passionate bartender and I’m so glad someone mentioned this in a Reddit thread for me to find.

### 5/5 — Great app for the bartender or wannabe! A+

*2022-01-12, version 0.1*

What’s not to love about this app! A ton of cocktails in its library. Not only is it easy to use but provides information and pictures of the cocktails. The search function is great if you have a spirit or other ingredient and not sure what cocktail to make. Get the app, you won’t be sorry!

### 5/5 — Pretty and practical

*2022-01-05, version 0.1*

Love using it to show the bartender how to make my favourite drinks, dive bar friendly!

### 5/5 — An incredible app which is evolving!

*2021-12-30, version 0.1*

I downloaded this app a couple months ago and I was impressed, but I had to come back and write a review because I opened the app recently and boom, now it has a “search” function! And it is search done right. You can filter by as many parameters as you want which is awesome. So excited to see where this app goes. It’s clear the creator has big plans. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Exceptional!!!

*2021-12-30, version 0.1*

This app is very impressive. Not only does it have a totally new way of reading & seeing drink recipes, the library is quite expansive, and it has ingredient recipes! Not to mention a batch calculator built into every recipe card! On top of all that the research on historical recipes is very very thorough. Looking forward to seeing this thing grow!

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2021-12-25, version 0.1*

I have a bar full of liquor and little knowledge of what to do with it. Last night I used the search function to look for gin and found easy recipes I could make with what I already had! Will be using this app a lot!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2021-10-18, version 0.1*

Very cool app! Definitely comes in handy. So much detail and preciseness went into each drink, I love the batch feature in particular. I’m very excited for the upcoming search bar feature that’ll further help non-bartenders like myself

### 5/5 — Mixologist must have

*2021-10-07, version 0.1*

Much like the name suggests,
Imbiblia is truly the “Bible of Drinks.” Perfectly researched and structured the app suites the ambitious at home cocktail maker or any restaurant/bar looking to provide their staff with a wealth of knowledge.

I would highly recommend Imbiblia to industry folk and any curious mind with its structured layout and user friendly platform.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-09-07, version 0.1*

This app is very useful and very user friendly as well. Beautifully put together. My favourite feature is the auto Google image search.

### 5/5 — Ridiculously Useful

*2021-09-05, version 0.1*

This is such a great app, perfect for on the go! Searching by ingredients is so helpful, and the design is simple and easy to use. Love the history snippets, awesome for drink trivia!

Drinks that will amaze.

### 5/5 — Perfect tool for everyone

*2021-08-28, version 0.1*

Love the education you get along with the recipes. This app was extremely helpful in a foreign country! Showed the drink I wanted with the visuals on the app and we were speaking a universal language!

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

This app is great, easy to use , doesn’t crash and contains so many amazing drinks. I love the history piece in there :)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Limited Usefulness

*2021-10-14, version 0.1*

Both the ingredient and cocktail lists are quite limited, particularly in comparison to other options. Likewise, you have to manually click on cocktails by name to see ingredients. So unlike most bar books and websites, you can’t find cocktails based on ingredients you want to use. The app forces you to click around until you find a cocktail for which you have ingredients.

On the positive side, the write-ups on the cocktails are refreshingly detailed. And the layout of those details is perfect. But these things of little use when you want to explore new cocktails to drink.

Ultimately, it might have potential with a lot of additions. But it’s not worth a paid app as it stands now. I don’t see myself using this when much better, more comprehensive, and searchable options exist for free online.

### 3/5 — Better options available

*2023-01-09, version 0.1*

Better options available

### 3/5 — Not bad but very limited

*2022-04-23, version 0.1*

The app is intuitive and easy to use, but the content is very limited. Hoping they will expand.

### 5/5 — 11/10

*2026-01-04, version 2.4*

Goes above and beyond, how do I get in contact with the developer to invest

### 5/5 — The only cocktail app you’ll ever need

*2025-12-25, version 2.0.2*

Imbiblia is beautiful, intuitive and comprehensive. Whether you are a casual sipper or a hardcore bartender, Imbiblia has all the bells and whistles you could ever dream of: batch calculator, flavor profiles, **search by flavor**, abundant info on recipes and ingredients, the ability to save your own custom recipes, and the creator is very responsive. It’s unbelievable. Download it, you’ll be delightfully impressed.

### 5/5 — Remarkable

*2024-08-03, version 2.0.2*

Hands down the best app for bartenders, bars and restaurants who want to manage their recipes in a beautiful and intuitive way.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Mixology App

*2024-06-29, version 2.0.2*

I read a review of Imbiblia on Bon Appetit and it has not disappointed! The app has a really great way of giving you single page recipes, and easily allows you to add your own. This is by far the best mixology app I have tried. I’m a home bartender, but someone who gets really into hobbies and this app is a good fit. The founder/developer is responsive to feature requests and is constantly working to improve the user experience. Thanks Imbiblia!

### 5/5 — Amazing for the industry.

*2024-06-03, version 2.0.1*

incredible app. Been in the industry for years and this thing is perfect.

### 5/5 — Up your game!

*2024-05-25, version 2.0.1*

I'm not a bartender.
I AM a cocktail enthusiast who, like many, started making my own drinks at home during covid.
And while imbiblia is designed with professional bar service in mind, there is a LOT here for amateur and home bartenders.
Precision recipes, batch calculators, cocktail history, proper glassware and garnish recommendations and even photos of many finished drinks.

I fancy myself the best cocktail maker in my friend/family circle. My home has a full built in bar, and l've filled my shelves with favorites.
Top shelf spirits, classic and modern liqueurs, modifiers of all sorts and always fresh citrus.
But all of that is just parts.

You can have the best ingredients and still make a bad cocktail if your measurements or methods are incorrect.
Imbiblia helped me step up my game, and with the flavor profile and substitution functions, try a few new concoctions that I otherwise might not have come across.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2024-05-25, version 2.0.1*

This thing is impressive. Especially with the new update. Huge library and now you can see unknown recipes from bartenders who are posting and creating their own digital cocktail books. Search by Flavor is unreal. Amazing how accurate it is. Never seen anything like it.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — game changer

*2024-05-25*

The new version of this app is wild. It has “Search by Flavor” and you can see what the flavor for any recipe is! Every ingredient has I for cards, and substitutes based on flavor. hundreds of recipes and more getting added all the time, plus ingredient recipes. Clearly built by someone who has been in the industry and done their homework when it comes to cocktail history. Incredible work.

### 5/5 — Useful, informative, and fun!

*2024-05-25, version 2.0.1*

I recently started using Imbiblia, and I am already in love with it! One of the standout features is the "search by ingredient" filter, which allows me to get creative with the ingredients I have at home. This feature has made me much more adventurous when choosing or making drinks, helping me discover new and exciting combinations I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making the overall user experience very pleasant. While some features require a subscription, the free portion of the app is extensive and offers plenty of valuable content.

I haven't encountered any issues or bugs so far, and based on my experience, I would highly recommend Imbiblia to anyone looking to expand their drink-making repertoire. This app is a fantastic tool for both beginners and seasoned mixologists!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2023-07-30, version 0.1*

Truly excellent
