## What is iMemento Deluxe?

"iMemento Deluxe" is an advanced mobile flashcard app that supports you effectively in your daily study. 

You can learn or create new flashcards wherever you are.

Texts can be formatted and pictures can be added.
Editing can be fully done on the iPad or iPhone while importing flashcards from text or csv files is possible, too.
Importing flashcards enables you to transfer your cards from a variety of desktop flashcard programs.

Additionally there is a direct connection to the web flashcard services Quizlet and StudyStack.

You can create flashcards on the iPhone. But if you want to you can also create them on your PC or Mac in a simple text editor and import them into "iMemento Deluxe". 
You can also create your flashcards in the web services Quizlet or StudyStack and import them in iMemento.


The "Lite" version allows you to create only a limited number of cards and books. 
Other than that there are no restrictions in the "Lite" version.


Note: The old "iMemento" will still be available for devices with iOS 7 and below. For "iMemento Deluxe" you need iOS8 or newer.

Be prepared for many added features in this release.
 
The main focus was on Connectivity. 
The release 2.2.0 offers import AND export support for 
iCloud Drive
Dropbox
Google Drive
and any other app that offers its services via iOS.

You can also directly transfer a book from one device to another via AirDrop.

Furthermore it is now possible to download flashcards from 2 major flashcard web services:

Quizlet and
StudyStack.

Even without account you can search and download any of the publicly available flashcards from these web sites.
With an account you can also download the private cards you have access to.
In Quizlet (if you are a teacher) you could even prepare flashcards and organize them in classes to download for your pupils.

Besides these main features there are many improved details:
- In ‚Study’ and ‚Learn’: a long tap on an image will now make it fullscreen. You can then zoom and pan it.
- More options to sort the cards that have been chosen for studying: you can sort by lecture, stars, due date, alphabet, youngest or oldest card.
- ‚Learn‘: there are options to speak the card automatically after swiping to the next card. The slide show has more features that allow an endless looping or that only the front or back side is spoken.
- Import: if flashcards are imported and a book already exists you now have the choice to exchange the book (while keeping the learning progress) or to ADD new flashcards and keep the existing ones. With this you can add small lectures to an already existing book.
- Text file import corrected in case last answer in the file was missing.
- On export the image of the book is not exported anymore by default.
- A fix to the number-of-books-to-study for the badges in case the maximum number of stars was less than 5.


Note: the import from the iMemento Classic app has been dropped as this feature required 32 bit functionality. Also the legacy support for iOS7 is discontinued. Version 2.2.0 is for iOS8 and iOS9 devices only.
