I sent in photos, DVD, mini cam corner tapes. I love having accessibility right at my fingertips. We have family night and put it on the TV! Best investment you can make for your family ### 3/5 — Missing minutes from my Fathers last video. *2026-03-02, version 4.0.6* I told the company by email, minutes were missing from a video when they added digitized video to my app, I downloaded here. I confirmed missing minutes to them by email, twice. No reply second time. No one answers their telephone. Payment is required upfront of service. I did not receive an actual receipt. The app is expensive and it offers no contact information for questions or follow up. Customers are distanced from the company. I finally pulled the trigger-and wish I’d done it years ago. The whole family has been mesmerized watching our past come alive. I encourage everyone to do it before their tapes go bad!! The older ones are definitely degraded, and I’m going to look into enhancing them. Didn’t want dvds, wanted to download onto pc. Haven’t had a dvd player in 15 years. Paid $175 No email communication. Got on site, said 1 week to dl otherwise call for permission to download. I kid you not. I call. On hold for 45 minutes, whole time #1 in queue, w the time remaining 2:15 & 3:15 for the whole time. Refusing to pay for cloud, says if i dont pay, videos will be deleted. Watched the YouTube video provided for help. Comment section full of complaints and turned off. Contacted Walgreens to get my items returned, still not a single email during the whole process. Got $150 back. Vhs tapes returned, thank you for that. This is a scammy front. Deleting and reinstalling did not help. So I called iMemories customer support and was told that they provide no support for their app. So we are stuck. ### 1/5 — Waste of time and money. *2025-11-11* I sent in original negatives from my parent’s wedding from 1958. The pictures I received back after paying for AI enhancement had strange lighter swirl marks on some of the pictures. This may have been from marks on the original negatives. But I could have used a basic photoshop utility to blend in the lightened marks. If AI can restore faded and grainy pictures as has been advertised. Then I’d like to know why this company could blend the colors/shade of lighting to create a clearer picture. Very disappointed and sent in an e-mail sharing that with customer service & have yet to hear a single thing back from them. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** We’re here to help! Not a WiFi issue, strong signal provided. Unreliable and no easy way to get real tech support or report issues other than email which has gone unanswered. Hard to enjoy a family night reliving old memories as intended with the bugs. Sure would like to see it fixed. **Developer response:** Thank you! We’re listening and working on making the app better every day, thanks for your input. ### 1/5 — Scam, shady deceptive business practices! *2025-10-01* Paid a fee to have old videos converted to digital, when I paid it said shipping was free! Lies lies lies. Later they sent me an invoice to convert the video and a fee to ship things back, twice what I had already paid. They told me I didn’t pay for the video conversion but that I paid only for the cardboard box. If I wanted the video converted I had to pay extra, if I wanted anything done I had to pay for shipping, otherwise they were not going to do anything. Then they asked for additional fees to make the video look better… everything is an add on and there’s no free shipping! It’s all a scam! Read other reviews! Satisfaction guarantee??? We will see! These films are from the late 60s to the 1970s with the VHS capturing the 1980s. These digital upgrades are worth it and the app makes it easily accessible. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The images are polished and fluid. The staff divides the reels into episodic videos so you can pick and choose which event to see versus seeing the entire reel. There wasn’t a dry eye when we watched the films. We thought we could never have had a chance to see these memories again. Lastly, the staff are fantastic. Very helpful, kind, and considerate by working with us.
