## What is iMetch?

iMetch — Pixel Lock

Every photo you take raises a question: can it be trusted? In a world where images are easily copied, screenshotted, and passed off as original, the burden of proof falls on the person sharing the photo. iMetch solves this at the moment of capture — before the photo ever leaves your camera.

Take Photos That Can Be Proven Real

When you take a photo with iMetch, something invisible happens the moment you press the shutter. The app quietly locks an invisible seal into the photo itself — not as a separate file, not in the cloud, but woven directly into the image. This seal records the exact time the photo was taken and the precise location of your device at that moment.

If anything in the photo is changed after it was taken — even slightly — the seal will no longer match, and the photo will fail a verification check. This gives anyone you share the photo with a way to confirm it is genuine, unedited, and taken exactly when and where you say it was.

Automatic Fake Detection

Before any photo is saved, iMetch checks whether what your camera is pointed at is a real scene or a screen showing an existing photo. This happens automatically, every time, before the shutter completes.

If you accidentally — or deliberately — photograph a phone screen, a computer monitor, or any other existing image, iMetch will catch it and block the save. You will see a clear message telling you the photo looks like a rephoto, and you will be given the option to retake.

This means every photo saved through iMetch is a genuine first-generation capture — not a copy, not a screenshot, not a photo of a photo. The check runs entirely on your device and takes no extra time you would notice.

Your Photos Never Leave Your Device

iMetch was built around one rule: your photos are yours, and they stay on your device.

There is no account to create. There is no login. There is no cloud backup managed by iMetch. No photo is uploaded for processing, analysis, or storage. The fake detection runs on your iPhone. The seal is applied on your iPhone. The verification check runs on your iPhone.

Verify Any Photo

The Verify tab lets you import any photo from your camera roll and check whether it is genuine. If the photo was sealed by any copy of iMetch on any device, you can verify it.

The verification result tells you everything you need to know in plain language.

Simple Camera Controls

iMetch gives you a clean, full-screen viewfinder with the controls you expect. Pinch to zoom, or tap the zoom buttons to jump between wide, standard, and telephoto in one tap. The viewfinder grid helps you compose your shot. A small lock icon in the corner is a quiet reminder that every photo you take is being protected.

Who Is iMetch For

Anyone involved in insurance or legal matters — Photograph damage, accidents, or evidence with a built-in record of when and where the photo was taken. No server, no third party, no exposure.

Journalists and fact-checkers — Establish that a photo was taken at a specific place and time and has not been touched since. Give editors and publishers a way to confirm what they are looking at is real.

Property and real estate — Document the condition of a property at any point — move-in, inspection, handover — with photos that carry a verifiable time and location record, reducing the chance of disputes later.

Anyone who needs to be believed — Sometimes you simply need to share a photo and have it trusted. iMetch gives the person on the other end the means to check it themselves.

No subscription. No account. No upload.

iMetch does what it says, on your device, every time you use it.
