I was hoping that i could easily switch patches during a song.  I can load a patch with a song selection but there should be an option to select another patch on the same device with the click of a button.  I can do this with BandHelper and Yamaha setlist maker but not this program. I guess i was hoping for too much.

this app is very very useful, saved me a lot of time in programming ..
the only problem is that it is difficult to change presets while playing live, the arrows are too small and too close to other commands..
If you can help it would be fantastic..
Upgrade.. bought settlist, now it’s much easier.
Problem, the app crashes with new iOS  14.4.2 , notes on es rack (device2) keep playing...can’t use it anymore..
Dropbox is offline
I check everyday for update..

This is the most powerful and beautiful midi patch bay for iOS, but unfortunately it was abandoned by the developer, 2 years without updates, Just bought it to use with the hammond b3x app but it didn’t work, some other users are facing the same problem, we reported it to the support area, but we hadn’t answered, I’m hopeful to hear the developer about the solution, then for sure I’ll change the rate to a 5 stars

I really like this app. It’s well thought out but I bought it a few years ago for hardware synths and just tried to incorporate my iOS synths ( Magellan , IK B3, etc ) and imidipatch bay isn’t showing up on any app to choose as the midi in. Nit sure if it’s the app is older, maybe not updated for a while, but for me has only worked for hardware, which is a shame.

Hook up your keyboard on say MIDI channel 1, and route it out to up to 4 apps or external devices, with program change codes and some CC adjustments like volume, reverb or chorus?  Works great.

Don’t buy the multiple masters in app purchase, though.  As far as I can tell, the additional “master” inputs 2-4 are only useful for bouncing a signal back to a device which has local MIDI control turned off.  I was hoping to route another device or channel, such as channel 10 out from my arranger, to an arbitrary extern, such as a drum synth.  Nope, there is no way to select which master drives an extern, just which split/layer zone of master 1 is used for input.

Maybe the problem is trying to do the configuration with my iPhone instead of my iPad , since the pop up help suggests holding down the arming button on the extern while tapping a master or something.  I don’t understand why the MIDI setup dialog box doesn’t allow either/both of the master or extern to select the routing from a master to an extern using from & to option lists, similar to how the master input and extern output are selected.

This works well with a midi sound module that cant store and recall programs and patches etc.
However I don’t know how you get rid of these help icons which are a real pain on the smaller display of the iphone!!

Die App ist in Ordnung. 

Der Preis ist vielleicht etwas exklusiv, wenn man betrachtet, dass man z.B. die original Minimoog App schon für 16,99 € bekommt. Eventuell ist die Minimoog App auch zu günstig.

Der Email Support findet bei mir leider nicht statt, deswegen kann ich ihn nicht beurteilen.

**Developer response:** Danke für dein Kommentar. So eine spezielle App für Bühnenkeyboarder kann nicht mit dem Preis einer Synth-App konkurrieren, die ein Vielfaches von Nutzern anspricht. Wenn die "App in Ordnung" ist, wie du ja schreibst, wäre es sehr sehr nett, wenn du deine Bewertung noch einmal überdenken könntest. Sonst haben es Spezialanwendungen wie diese hier sehr schwer zu überleben... Danke!

Fantastica applicazione, fa tutto e bene, peccato non funziona il Dropbox sync che è l’unico modo per salvare un backup delle set list. Speriamo venga risolto questo problema.

In der Beschreibung steht, dass die Songs via Tasten umgeschaltet werden können.
„For example, iMIDIPatchbay allows to switch songs while still holding down keys without interrupting the sound“
Leider kann man im Setup dazu nichts einstellen. Lediglich beim Program change Input kann man einen Kanal einstellen.
Vom Entwickler habe ich keine Antwort dazu bekommen.
Deshalb 4 Sterne.

**Developer response:** Man kann die Songs per App umschalten, also auf dem Screen. Zusätzlich kann man dies auch per MIDI Program Change bewerkstelligen. Was genau ist noch unklar?

Ich nutze die App seit vielen Jahren zur Steuerung meines Keyboard Setups im live Betrieb und bin begeistert von den Möglichkeiten. Das sehr gut gelungene User Interface ist gerade für Keyboarder die noch mit „echten“ Instrumenten arbeiten ein Traum. Tolles zusätzliches Feature ist die Setlist mit der zum Song gehörende Notizen oder Noten (pdf) darstellen lassen. 
Leider wird die App nicht mehr gepflegt, deshalb nur 1 Stern. Mir ist es nicht gelungen Kontakt zum Support aufzunehmen. Seit IOS 14 funktioniert die SetList nicht mehr und es gibt Abstürze! Also besser nach einer Alternative suchen… Ich habe leider noch nichts ähnliches als App für IPad oder iPhone gefunden.

J,ai contacté le développeur à plusieurs reprises restées sans réponse par contre l,encaissement lui ça fonctionne.

App doesn’t work, poor built in help menu when more substantial manual is needed and no one replies to simple tech support request - my advice is better to buy MidiFlow which will do everything this does and at least it works so the tech support isn’t needed!

Looking at tutorial and with no manual, I'm unable to get this app (downloaded twice) working correctly. I used an m-audio controller and, separately, a Yamaha motif es6; Specs: iPad Air 1, iOS 9.3; Apps: SAMPLETANK, igrand, neosoul keys, korg module/m1/wave station, Galileo, Sunrizer, Alchemy and DM-1. The full range is still heard. Using iPad audio only, with irig midi 1 (lightning adapter to 5-pin traditional midi cable).

**Developer response:** The problem in you case might be that your sound apps receive the MIDI data directly from your keyboard. Make sure that they only respond to notes coming from iMIDIPatchbay. A good test is to terminate iMIDIPatchbay and play a note on the keyboard. No sound should be triggered, until you start it again.

Habe mein Setup erneuert. Wollte gerne mit IMIDIPatchbay und einem Iconnectivity MIDI 4+ meine alte treue Miditemp Multistation ersetzen. Leider hängt es im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Midinotenhänger bei mehr als zwei Layers…….Dachte erst, es liegt am Masterkeyboard oder dem MIDI 4+, doch wenn ich komplexe Patches und Layers mit Miditemp via Midi4+ spiele, funktioniert das einwandfrei…..Drum nur zwei Sterne.

Die App überzeugt als Steuerzentrale für Midi-Geräte und Appsˋs.
Eine durchdachte Bedienoberfläche die optisch ansprechend gestaltet wurde, erleichtert die Einbindung in das eigene Setup.

Eigentlich hätte das Programm 5 Sterne verdient, wäre da nicht die  
kostenpflichtige Setlist-Erweiterung.

Die Oberfläche der Erweiterung wirkt lieblos gestaltet und kann in keiner Weise mit dem Hauptprogramm mithalten.
Im Querformat teilt sich die Notendarstellung und die Songübersicht das Display zu gleichen Teilen. Das erschwert die Lesbarkeit der Noten enorm. Da die eingebundenen PDF nicht skalierbar sind wäre eine grosszügigere Displayaufteilung zu Gunsten der Noten wünschenswert.

Die alleinige Anbindung an Dropbox ist nicht zeitgemäß.

Zum Zeitpunkt der Bewertung lässt sich ein mit einem Song verbundenes Dokument nicht mehr löschen und auch ist das Hinzufügen einer 2. Seite nicht möglich. 

Ich hoffe hier auf ein baldiges Update um die Setlist-Erweiterung entsprechend den versprochenen Möglichkeiten nutzen zu können.

Update:
Da nach etlichen Wochen die Setlist-Erweiterung immer noch nicht funktioniert sind nur noch zwei Sterne als Bewertung angemessen.

Update - after the latest update the app works perfectly again.  I just hope that updates are made more frequently in the future when a known issue exists.  I’m thankful for this latest update.

I’m a professional keyboardist who has used iMIDIPatchbay for years whith phenomenal results in the past. Unfortunately, as of iOS14, the app started having major issues related to PDFs and stuck synths which were never addressed. The developer used to provide excellent responses and quick fixes, but for a long while he has not responded to issues raised in the forums or directly. I sincerely hope he is ok. The app is no longer stable enough for pro use on iOS and I’m not upgrading to 15 until I can migrate all my music to another app. Just an FYI to any keyboardists considering this app.

Mi permette di organizzare i miei suoni delle 2 tastiere più un plugin come voglio. Ottimo MIDI routing e learn. All’inizio è un po’ ostica ma poi è una favola.

I read some strange reviews. Maybe too old.
First of all it works with Ios12
Dropbox sync works.
Maybe somtimes the app miss the connection but it’s a random bug to me.

Nutze die App zur Steuerung meiner Soundmodule ohne  Möglichkeit der der direkten Steuerung am Gerät.
z.B. die Soundmodule von V3-Sound. Habe einen Kommex, den ich auch unabhängig von meinem Korg PA-Keyboard steuern möchte, zumal vom PA-Keyboard nicht komplett alle im Kommex vorhandenen Sounds angewählt werden können. So kann ich nun mit jedem Masterkeyboard die Sounds aufrufen. Prima Sache!
Kann auch meine weiteren Expander Hohner Alpinside und GMinside sowie meinen Cavagnolo CS 20 Akkordeon-Expander komfortabel steuern. Super durchdachte App von einem Musiker für Musiker. Weiterhin sehr schönes Design. Der Preis geht absolut in Ordnung für das, was die App alles kann.

Hi !
This is a great app, but i am not pleased with the fact that i have to buy the "setlist fonction" again to use with my ipad. 
I first installed the app on my iPhone 6s with in-app purchase for setlist fonction, and decided to download it on my iPad air for free since i alteady purchased the app and setlist function$. To my surprise, once i installed the app on my iPad (cloud purchase-free), it doesnt give me the functionality of setlist with it (already paid for iPhone). This is not acceptable.
Can you please rectify this issue and activate this fonction for all my devices without having to pay each time ... Launchpad Novation allows all in-app purchases free of charge for all other devices (audio import function etc..) , so this should not be a problem to do.  Thank you for your understanding.

**Developer response:** Hi, this should not happen. IAPs can be restored using the Restore purchases function in settings. Even if you click buy a second time, you won’t be charged if you have bought that IAP with that account before.

Ho acquistato l’app qualche giorno fa , ha delle eccellenti funzionalità ma non funziona con Ios12 e per ora l’ho dovuta mettere da parte.
Vorrei chiedere allo sviluppatore se sta lavorando ad un nuovo aggiornamento e quanto tempo ci vorrà per poterla utilizzare con Ios12

I use this app with the iConnectMIDI2+, it’s perfect, really perfect. For my use tirée things are missing :
- to be able to change setlist via midi CC (CC0 or CC32)
- As in setlistmaker, assign personnal midi n° program for each song (bank MSB, bank LSB & program).
- assign a midi CC to switch between the differents documents of a same song.
Everything else is perfect. Designed and thought by a musician for musicians.

Great app for gigs, especially for a multi keyboardist.  Very useful. Also highly recommend for the add-on setlist feature, which has been super.  As I scroll through a set, If i attached notes/chart for that song I can see it on my iPad, then simply swipe when it’s over, which I’m onto the next song (which changes all my patches across my rig).  I play in several projects, so not having to manually change (or memorize patches) has been great.
Note: I did previously encounter an issue with the app, but the developer was very helpful on a work around and eventually resolve entirely.  I did not realize how much I depended on it when I initially ran into issues.  All good now, so very pleased.
