The 1971 reference of the iMini was made famous by artists and bands such as Stevie Wonder, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Keith Emerson, Devo, Jean Michel Jarre and more. We brought the features and sound of this classic to the iOS platform! iMini not only recreates the look and feel of the most legendary synthesizer, it does it with unparalleled sound quality. iMini is based on the award winning Arturia Mini V software that was created in partnership with Dr. Robert Moog himself, back in 2003. You can play iMini’s numerous sounds from the iPad keyboard. You can create your own sounds and start building your personal sound palette.
If you are an owner of the Arturia Mini V software on your Mac or PC, you can import and export sounds between your laptop or desktop Mini V and iMini.
You can also control iMini from a MIDI keyboard via CoreMIDI and integrate it into your studio or live performances.

iMini is a Tabletop Ready app. The connect menu allows you to connect iMini to the Retronyms Tabletop app, giving you an integration with a complete studio environment. You can use multiple instances of iMini; record your performance into a real-time sequencer; automate any of the parameters; add effects; process other modules through the iMini filters, and more. Tabletop also features add-ons for more effects and instruments from other 3rd party companies.

### 1/5 — Artifacts???

*2026-01-29, version 1.75*

I had this on my iPad for years and loved it. But it now seems to have some sort of common buzzing noise on most of its presets. I don’t know enough about these things but could these be ‘artifacts’? Whatever, for me, at the moment it’s unusable.

### 1/5 — Arturia don’t seem to be updating this app

*2025-08-04, version 1.75*

Used to work great. Just buzzy now.

### 1/5 — Abandonware

*2024-08-18, version 1.75*

Better available out there. Don’t bother.

### 1/5 — Why is it recommended for iMPC pro 2 ?

*2024-07-28, version 1.75*

I bought it because it was recommended for iMPC pro 2 but whenever I play along with the music it’s always off . When I use other iia apps they are on time and they aren’t recommended. Why is this app recommended when it doesn’t work well with the app ?

### 2/5 — Sound is decent by can’t recommend any Arturia Apps..

*2023-12-17, version 1.75*

Time for an upgraded version .. lot’s of crashes.. looks like Arturia won’t be supporting any of their IOS Apps, can’t recommend any, due to lack of support.

### 2/5 — Tabletop? Are You Kidding?

*2023-10-17, version 1.75*

This sounds good but doesn’t play nice. I guess Arteria is gonna stick with Tabletop and not bother integrating their synths with the rest of the iOS music production universe. It needs auV3. C’mon guys!

### 2/5 — AUv3 Compatibility, PLEASE!

*2022-10-13, version 1.75*

C’mon, Arturia! Bring ALL of your fine apps into compliance! Don’t neglect your iOS users!!!!

### 4/5 — Need auv3 please

*2022-05-30, version 1.75*

Love the imini. Super punchy for basses. Just needs auv3

### 2/5 — Used To Love It. Not So Much Now. ☹️

*2022-01-11, version 1.75*

I’ve had iMini for years and used to use and love it. But I’ve drifted away from it. I’ve actually owned a Model D since the late 70’s, but was always happy to have this (once great) app as a convenient and portable substitute for my iPads.

I fired it up today and I must admit that I’m very disappointed. According to the App Store, Arturia hasn’t updated it in 3 years. And it certainly shows!! No AUv3, Tap Tempo crashes the app, outdated connectivity options that are now greyed out rather than removed, no Bluetooth connectivity, blah, blah, blah.

I love and use Arturia hardware and software. Use their products all the time. But revisiting this particular app was a huge disappointment. They should update it or just drop it from the store. It’s obvious that they have forgotten it even exists.

This is not to badmouth Arturia as a company. They are great. But this app should be avoided.

Buy Moog’s very own version. It sounds and works great, and they stay on top of it. In fact, it was updated just 2 days ago. It’s based on their classic baby, and they treat it as such. 👍

### 1/5 — Poor implementation

*2021-06-24, version 1.75*

Could have been good, but is missing vital controls you would find on the synth it’s copying, like the LFO !

Save your money, avoid buyers regret and get the Moog version, it’s far better than this poorly implemented ripoff.
